How to Use Proximity Mine

Place on Choke Points and Busy Hallways

Modern Warfare 3 - Place on Choke Points and Busy Hallways

The Proximity Mine a stationary explosive that trigger on enemy proximity. Proximity Mines are best used in choke points to catch unsuspecting enemies.

They can also be used to protect your flank when completing objectives or camping certain spots.

Can Be Shot to Detonate

Like the C4, another Lethal equipment, the Proximity Mine can also be shot to detonate it from a distance. When placing one on the ground, make sure there are no enemies around or you'll risk getting blown up by your own Proximity Mine.

How to Unlock Proximity Mine

Reach Level 25 and Complete 5 Armory Unlock Challenges

The Proximity Mine is unlocked for your loadout by reaching level 25 and activating it at the Armory and completing 5 Challenges. Armory Unlock Challenges are completed by finishing Daily and Bonus Challenges.
