How to Beat Auger Sabbat
Auger Sabbat Attack Patterns
Charge Attack
With its shield still on, Auger Sabbat will charge straight at you. If you are unable to dodge or move out of the way in a timely manner, the hit from its charge will knock you to the ground. It will reorient itself to charge at you, even if you remain close to it to deal melee damage.
Liquid Ground
Auger Sabbat will rear its front leg upwards, right before it drills its head into the ground, causing a large area around it to swirl in black-red liquid. Remaining in the affected area will cause you damage, and is best to just simply avoid once the creature prepares for this attack.
Leg Kick
When you are close to the creature, it will kick you using its hind legs. Receiving this powerful blow will knock you to the ground, but is easy to avoid if you keep moving around it.
Auger Sabbat Strategies
Destroy its Shell
The weak point of Auger Sabbat is hidden behind a cone-shaped shell it has placed over its head. You can use Psychokinesis or Special Object Attacks to safely send objects its way. Breaking the shell will cause it to lay stunned on the ground, a perfect chance for you to land it clean blows.
Dodge and Counterattack
Prior to being able to break its shell, you can dodge and counterattack Auger Sabbat's charges to deal it early damage. Using Clairvoyance gives your counterattacks more damage, making it easier for you to quickly defeat the beast in the long run.
