Trading speed for distance and area of effect, Kasane uses multiple knives as her primary method of dispatching Others in engagements. Unlike Yuito, she wil keep her distance, throwing out slow but wide ranged attacks that can hit more than just one enemy.
Kasane Randall Abilities and Profile
Both basic and special attacks differ between the two primary characters you can choose to play as. Yuito's fast and close approach lays in stark contrast to the slow but ranged attacks of Kasane, so jumping from one character to the next may take some time getting used to.
Deliberately pace engagements to learn more about the fighting style of each character.
During combat, you can use the various objects in your environment to throw against your enemies. These particular kinds of attacks do well in causing opponents to stumble for a few moments, giving you valuable time to come in with basic or special attacks to keep up a combo of hits.
Allies whom you have increased your BOND level with will sometimes call to you during the heat of battle. Responding to these calls will execute a special attack that renders massive amounts of damage against enemies.
A "brain-to-brain" connection that allows you to temporarily use an ally's powers. During battle or while exploring the world, you can borrow these powers to cause more mayhem against your enemies or simply allow you to navigate through obstacles as you explore the world.
Both you and your enemies are capable of inflicting Status Ailments on each other, which causes a variety of effects to be rendered on you or an enemy for a period of time. Try and avoid these ailments while causing them to occur in your enemies.
A temporary boost in your powers that brings bonuses to how fast you can strike, reduced psychokinesis gauge consumption, and lifting time for psychokinetic attacks, the Brain Drive is represented by a small gauge at the bottom of your screen that fills up by performing actions such as defeating enemies.
Once full, Brain Drive automatically activates, allowing for faster fights against the Others.
