This is a guide on how to use Brain Drive in Scarlet Nexus, available on Playstation, XBOX, and Steam. Read on and learn how to slow the decrease in your Psychokinesis Gauge, and how to attack your foes with more power!
Brain Drive is a state in which focus for your character increases, giving buffs to attacks, attack speed, movement, and the speed you can start and end Psychokinesis Attacks. While in this state, players will have their Psychokinesis Gauge (PK Gauge) decrease slower than usual when in use.
While in Brain Drive, simply killing enemies won't be enough to cause good amounts of EXP to fall on to you. Executing Brain Crushes, Psychokinesis Follow-Up Attacks and executing Perfect Dodges all provide bonus EXP once done while in Brain Drive mode.
Triggering Brain Drive is done automatically in-game once the Brain Drive Gauge, which is the "Drive" bar to the right of your Health Bar and PK Gauge, fully fills up. Once active, it will begin to slowly deplete, so it is advised that players make use of the Brain Drive mode while it is still in full effect.
Once outside of battle, the Drive Gauge will still continue to deplete, albeit more slowly.
