Tips & Strategies |
---|
You do not need to completely defeat Karen in this battle. Deplete half of his health to put a stop to this fight.
Note: Unlike previous bosses, Karen will not have a Crush Gauge during this fight. It will be a straightfoward brawl until half of his health is gone.
Karen is more powerful than you in this state, and he will be relentless. We suggest keeping mobile during his brain field convergence to survive and carry on with the battle.
Karen is proficient in hand-to-hand combat and can animate ground spikes. If you cannot execute a Perfect Dodge, we suggest using Sclerokinesis to not take damage from his attacks.
Karen has the ability to duplicate 2 more of himself. To determine the real Karen, use Clairvoyance and then attack him to delete the 2 duplicates.
When Karen does his duplication attack, the real Karen will always attack last. Interrupt the attack and deal damage to him by activating Clairvoyance + Teleportation (the latter allows you to quickly close the distance).
Warning: This is a bit tricky to pull off since his duplication attack is very quick. Use the lock on function to make the teleport attack hit the right target.
Karen is extremely agile in this fight. Use Teleportation to match his speed and to be able to land psychokinetic attacks on him. You can also use this SAS to escape his ground spikes attack.
Karen has access to Electrokinesis. We highly recommend equipping Electric-Proof Barrier to protect yourself from his electrokinetic attacks and to avoid being paralyzed. This will especially come in handy when you cannot dodge these attacks.
