What Are Intercepts?

Sends Enemy Projectile Attacks Back

Scarlet Nexus - What are Intercepts

When coming up against enemies that can shoot or send projectiles at you, you have the ability to execute an Intercept against them, which can send their projectiles back at them similar to how Psychokinesis Attacks work.

Does Not Work on Non-Projectile Attacks

You can only use Intercepts if there are projectiles to intercept in the first place. You cannot execute an Intercept if the attack you are currently facing up against is a melee one.

How to Intercept?

Execute a Perfect Dodge

Scarlet Nexus - How to Perfect Dodge

Executing an Intercept is actually a fair bit more complicated than it seems. Prior to being able to send projectiles back, you would first need to execute a Perfect Dodge on an enemy's projectile attack. This will trigger the Perfect Dodge animation, where time slows to a crawl.

Using Clairvoyance will also make executing this move, and thus Intercepts as well, far easier.

How to Perfect Dodge

Press the Button When Prompted

Scarlet Nexus - Button Prompt

After executing a Perfect Dodge, a button prompt will appear on screen. These vary from platform to platform, but pressing the button brings about the same effect – your character will loop the projectile right back at the enemy that sent it to you, inflicting them with their own intended damage.
