EMD Grenade is a Tactical equipment in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3). Read on to learn how to use the EMD Grenade and unlock the EMD Grenade!

EMD Grenades are throwable equipment that when thrown, reveal enemy positions on impact, instead of dealing damage. These are useful for clearing rooms and other tight spaces before pushing in.
What makes this different from the Snapshot Grenade is that enemy locations are shown on the minimap, rather than on the field.
When revealed by EMD Grenades, enemy locations appear as a red dot on the minimap. This information is also shared with teammates, so make sure to coordinate with them when moving in!
The EMD Grenade is unlocked for your loadout by reaching level 25 and activating it at the Armory and completing 3 Challenges. Armory Unlock Challenges are completed by finishing Daily and Bonus Challenges.
