Call of Duty Seasons usually drop a score of fresh content for MW3 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone 2.0. The free content updates will usually include new maps, game modes, seasonal mechanics, playlist updates, and weapons.
Each new season of MW3 will ship with a Seasonal Battle Pass that contains cosmetic items, operator skins, weapon blueprints, as well as new seasonal weapons. New weapons are typically introduced via the Battle Pass, offering everyone a free unlock once they reach the sector containing the weapon.
Note: Only the new weapons (and a few cosmetics) are free. Most of the other rewards in the Battle Pass including Operator unlocks and skins will be locked behind a Premium Battle Pass purchase.
Current Battle Pass End Dates and Rewards
BlackCell Offerings were introduced during MW2 Season 3, giving players the option to spend $29.99 in order to upgrade their Battle Pass even further than the original premium tier.
When purchased, BlackCell Battle Pass holders will get more cosmetic rewards and COD Points from the BP compared to premium-only owners. Additionally, you will have your own starting sector compared to the Instant Sector for regular BP holders.
Pictured above are the final Prestige Rewards of MW2 for reaching Level 1,250.
Seasons will also unlock additional account level progression for players who have maxed out their progression in MW3. Prestige levels will offer new leveling milestones coupled with challenges that reward you with new emblems and calling cards.
Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Season 2 will end on April 3, 2024. The season will run for 55 days, so make sure to secure all Battle Pass rewards before it ends!
