The Breacher Drone is a new type of Lethal Equipment introduced in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) that can be launched by hand to deal explosive damage. Read on to learn more about the Breacher Drone, how to use the Breacher Drone, as well as how to unlock it.

The Explosive Drone is one of the new Lethal Equipment in Modern Warfare 3. It is capable of scoring operator kills by exploding on enemy proximity or direct impact.
The Breacher Drone has a large explosion radius and can easily kill enemies, even those hiding behind cover. Combined with its deceptively fast speed, you're almost guaranteed to get one kill if you have one available.
The Munitions Box can also be used to get another charge of the Breacher Drone. You can equip one in your Field Upgrade slot yourself or use an ally's if they have one for more Breacher Drones and kills!
To use the Breacher Drone, select it in your loadout in the Lethal Equipment slot. You can pair it with the Demolition Vest so that you deploy with two Breacher Drones in your loadout.
Take note that the Engineer Vest and CCT Comms Vest do not have a Lethal Equipment slot, so you won't be able to use the Breacher Drone if you have one of them equipped!

The Breacher Drone will immediately be launched as soon as you press and let go of the Lethal Equipment button, so make sure to aim first to where you want to launch it.
Alternatively, if you're not in a rush, you can hold the Lethal Equipment button, adjust your aim, then let go of the button.
The Breacher Drone is not available from the get go and cannot be unlocked by leveling up naturally. You'll need to unlock it in the Armory by reaching Level 25 and completing 3 Armory Unlock Challenges.
