Favela Tips and Strategies
Keep Out of the Alleys
Favela is a difficult map for beginners to get used to, since this map is multi-layered and has a lot of winding indoor pathways and vantage points from upper floors and rooftops. First, you must get used to the map's layout and find the best pathways inside buildings where people won't be able to pick you off from windows.
Find High Ground
Stay off the ground as much as possible and try to get to the rooftops of buildings for a better view of the whole map. You are also able to jump from rooftop to rooftop to quickly get across the map, so use this to your advantage.
Equip and Use an SMG
Consider using SMGs such as the Striker to maximize the high rate of fire and mobility these guns have as you'll often bump into enemies due to the map being littered with tight areas.

| ・The Striker SMG is the best gun for Favela due to its high mobility, handling, recoil control, and hip-fire accuracy. It has an extremely fast fire rate, allowing you to finish an enemy with 15 to 20 ammo. Since Favela has lots of tight spaces and corridors, the Striker will do very well in these close-quarters gunfights. ・The Renetti has a lot of versatility, deals decent damage, has decent range and great mobility. It can provide a quick swap when your primary runs out of ammo, or when you're in close quarters combat in the many alleys, corridors and buildings of Favela. With the right mods on the Renetti, it can become a powerful sidearm and can even go up against SMGs. The Infantry Vest synergizes fantastically with the Renetti as well. |
