How to Get Ammo Circuit Boards |

You can get Ammo Mod Circuit Boards in Loot Cache rewards for clearing Infested Strongholds. Infested Strongholds are marked on the map with an icon of a skull wearing a crown. To clear the Infested Stronghold, you'll have to destroy all Cysts, the glowing yellow bulbs found on walls and ceilings in the stronghold.
Keep in mind Ammo Mod Circuit Boards are rare drops, meaning they don't always drop for beating Infested Strongholds.
Ammo Circuit Boards can also be found in Loot Caches, specifically we've encountered them in Merc Caches.
Ammo Mod Circuit Boards have also been observed to spawn in random locations like on top of boxes in the overworld, where you can just pick it up with no hassle. It's still a rare encounter, but keep your eyes peeled since it might save you some time from having to clear a Stronghold.
You can attach an Ammo Mod Circuit Board to a Deadbolt Turret to activate it, causing the turret to automatically shoot all nearby enemies in the area for two minutes. With each shot, the turret applies the Ammo Mod effect to enemies. Each turret can hold up to four Ammo Mod Circuit Boards at a time.
This is extremely useful if you are having a difficult time clearing the enemies in the area. Moreover, every enemy killed by the turret counts toward your kills, earning you XP rewards.
The Deadbolt Turrets are represented by turret icons scattered across the Tac Map. Typically located on top of buildings or in elevated positions, they cover large areas to provide backup.
It is highly recommended to clear an Infested Stronghold with your squad. Clear each room as quickly as possible to avoid taking too much damage from the poison cloud inside.
You will gradually lose HP if you enter an Infested Stronghold without a Gas Mask due to the poisonous cloud emitted from the inside. It's recommended to bring and equip a Gas Mask before entering an Infested Stronghold. Gas Masks can be obtained as loot drops from enemies or in loot caches.
To cleanse an Infested Stronghold from infection, you need to destroy all the yellow cysts inside. Check every corner of the room to ensure you do not miss any cysts and successfully clear the stronghold.
