Roaring Drills is a limited-time event in Duet Night Abyss (DNA) where players must operate a canon to prevent enemies from reaching the portal. Read on to learn how to unlock Roaring Drills, how to play it, its rewards, and event info here!

Complete the The Reborn Main Quest
To unlock the Roaring Drills event, you must complete The Reborn main quest and head over to the Sanctuary to unlock all of the events.

Go to Events Page
To play Roaring Drills, press the Menu button, go to the Events tab, and navigate until you find the Roaring Drills event, then press go.
Roaring Drills features seven challenges, with one new challenge unlocking each day from January 20 to January 27.
Customize Your Loadout
Before selecting a challenge, players can update their item and weapon loadouts to boost firepower. Strategically combining attachments can significantly help in clearing drills more efficiently.
Additional items and weapons are unlocked progressively by completing challenges.

Operate Cannon to Prevent Enemies From Reaching the Portal
Roaring Challenges allows players to operate a Cannon to prevent enemies from reaching the portal. Using the cannon, players must shoot incoming enemies with two equipped weapons, starting with High EX and Rapid.
Defeating enemies during each stage earns points, and every event stage features cumulative score targets. Rewards can be claimed upon reaching the designated score thresholds.
Once unlocked, players can switch between weapons and use items to to boost their weapon’s firepower.

Roaring Drills will be available from January 20, 2026 to February 10, 2026, 17:00 (server time).
Players must first complete The Reborn main quest and travel to the Sanctuary, which unlocks access to all event content.

Roaring Drils Tip
Use the Latest Weapons and Items Unlocked
Weapons and Items are unlocked after clearing a Roaring Drill challenge. Once unlocked, players can freely switch and mix different weapons and items to suit their playstyle.
However, it is generally recommended to use the most recently unlocked weapons and items, as newer abilities tend to be stronger and more effective, making it easier to tackle tougher challenges.
Save Your High-Ex Weapon for a Large Number of Enemies
High-Ex and Rapid are the two firing modes available for your cannon. High-Ex fires a powerful blast that can hit multiple enemies and defeat them instantly, but it comes with a longer cooldown. Rapid mode allows you to fire bullets quickly with lower damage, and it takes time before the weapon overheats.
For best results, it is recommended to use Rapid first and save High-Ex for groups of enemies to maximize efficiency and score potential.
