1. Meet Snow Near the Hypnos' House 2. Follow Henrik to the Outskirts of Icelake 3. Meet Outsider Near His House 4. Head to the Hypnos' House 5. Check on Psyche 6. Go to Lamenting Lake with Psyche 7. Head to the Location Psyche Described 8. Dig Near the Roots 9. Take a Walk by Lamenting Lake 10. Capture a Memorable Moment with Psyche 11. Return to Icelake |
Complete Prerequisite to Unlock In the Depths of Winter
You must first complete Prey VS Hunter and On the Eve of Bloom to start playing In the Depths of Winter.
Meet Snow Near the Hypnos' House
Follow the quest marker and go around the Hypnos' House to trigger a cutscene.
Follow Henrik to the Outskirts of Icelake
Maintain a safe distance from Henrik to stay hidden from his sight. You can either walk slowly and maintain some distance behind him or crouch behind objects.
Going too near him will fail and restart the quest.
Meet Outsider Near His House
Make your way back to town to meet the Outsider after the cutscenes.
Head to the Hypnos' House
Make your way back to the Hypnos' House after the group resolves to save Psyche. She will invite you to Lamenting Lake for a walk
Check on Psyche
Go up the house and check on Psyche in her room.
Go to Lamenting Lake with Psyche
Head out to the Lamenting Lake after a cutscene with you, Psyche, and Henrik.
Head to the Location Psyche Described
Follow the quest markers while Psyche reminisces.
Dig Near the Roots
Go a bit further up north and excavate the small area near the boulder
Take a Walk by Lamenting Lake
Walk further out into the frozen lake and follow the quest marker going northeast.
Capture a Memorable Moment with Psyche
After unlocking the camera feature, take a snapshot of Psyche.
Return to Icelake
A confrontation will occur when you approach the quest maker. Go to the right side of the platform and defeat the sketchy soldier stationed nearby.
Afterwards, the soldier will plead to you and have a conversation. An Impressions check will occur.
