Talk to Yang's Father

To unlock Pears and Courtesy, you need to talk to Yang's Father. You can find Yang's Father at Everspring.

Pear and Courtesy - Duet Night Abyss

When you get to Everspring, head to the pavilion on the right and you'll find Yang and his father facing each other. The father explains that Yang is set on having a pear but can't leave so he asked you to buy two pears for them.

Benefit Check

There is only one option and it will require you to have at least 50 Benefit Impressions to succeed. If you didn't succeed the first time, reroll using the D10 Die at the bottom.

Go to Starwharf to Buy Pears

Pear Peddler - Duet Night Abyss
Once you reached Starwharf, go to the peddler who sells the finest ginseng to buy the pears.

Talk to Yang's Father again

Yang and Zhang - Duet Night Abyss

When you return to Everspring to give Yang's father the pears, there is another set of father and son beside them. There will be an exchange about giving the pear to the other set but the children looked up to you to end the back-and-forth.
