| Strengths | |||
|---|---|---|---|
|
• Powerful ranged attacks especially during Flamboyance state. • Can easily avoid melee attacks since she can float in the air. • Gains useful self-buffs from dealing CRIT hits to enemies. • Can use HP instead of Sanity to deal a lot of Skill DMG. |
|||
| Weaknesses | |||
|
• Damage is mediocre when she's not in the Flamboyance state. • Consumes HP to deal damage, so she requires a healer to survive better and stay in Flamboyance. |
Psyche is a strong Ranged DPS that can use her own HP instead of Sanity during Flamboyance state. Her Flamboyance makes her both mobile and powerful as a DPS and she can buff herself simply by dealing critical damage.

Psyche is a DPS unit that revolves around her Ultimate, Fluorescent Eclosion, and her Consonance Weapon, Icarus, to defeat enemies in combat. Focus on increasing the potency of her ranged weapon attacks during this state with Skill DMG, ATK, and Anemo ATK.
Since Psyche's playstyle focuses on draining her HP, Resolve is highly recommended on her to increase her damage significantly. Make sure to also gain Skill Duration, Skill Efficiency, or Sanity to improve this state's uptime.

Helido +5 increases the max Tolerance to 117.
You can use multiple copies of Blaze • Volition by raising its level to +5. This is ideal to increase her damage, although you can replace them with other Demon Wedges that improve her performance in certain situations, such as using Duel for bosses or Onslaught for mobs.

Elpides Abound
|
Resolve +10.0%. After an Anemo character uses their Ultimate Skill, grants Thousand Winds Blessing: increases Resolve by 16.0% and ATK Speed by 30.0% for 15.0s. Each instance of Skill Damage or Ranged Weapon Damage extends the duration by 0.2s. |
| 2 |
Wanewraith
|
Skill Damage +48% |
Elpide's Abound is Psyche's signature Melee Weapon and her best one as it provides Resolve and increases her Attack Speed when she uses Fluorescent Eclosion.
Wanewraith can also be used to increase Psyche's Skill DMG.
| # | Ranged Weapon | Skill (Max) |

| 1 |
Osteobreaker
|
Skill Duration +36.0%. |
| 2 |
Excresduo
|
Skill Damage +48% |
Psyche benefits greatly by having Osteobreaker as her weapon. She gains additional ATK due to her proficiency with it, and her Flamboyancy state's uptime is improved with the additional Skill Duration.
Alternatively, you can use Excresduo to give her even more Skill DMG. That said, you can prioritize one over the other depending on which Demon Wedges you have equipped.

Psyche leads this team with huge damage numbers thanks to Truffle's Resolve buffs and Fina's offensive buffs. As for defense, Truffle's heals should help keep the team healthy during tough battles.
| Skill | Priority | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Chrysalis Dreamweave | ★★★★☆ | Upgrading Chrysalis Dreamweave increases the damage dealt with this skill and enemies receive increased damage from Psyche using Ranged Weapons. |
| Fluorescent Eclosion | ★★★★★ | Fluorescent Eclosion is where most of Psyche's damage comes from, so upgrade this as soon as you can. |
| Amberlight | ★★★★★ | Upgrading Amberlight is necessary as this enhances the buffs Psyche receives. |
| Skill Effects |
|---|
|
Chrysalis Dreamweave
Creates 1 [Phantasm] and then flashes forward. This skill can be used at any time without interrupting Psyche's current action. In [Flamboyance] state, this skill is replaced with [Phototaxis]. |
|
Phantasm: Once created, the Phantasm continuously slows down nearby enemies. After 5 seconds, it deals Anemo Damage to nearby enemies and vanishes. When a new [Phantasm] is created, the existing [Phantasm] immediately deals Anemo Damage and vanishes. |
|
Phototaxis: Charges forward in the air and releases 16 [Ethereal Powders]. The [Ethereal Powders] automatically lock onto 1 enemy, dealing Anemo Damage and inflicting 1 stack of [Powder Stigma], up to 12 stacks. |
|
Powder Stigma: When a target afflicted with [Powder Stigma] takes Ranged Weapon DMG from [Psyche], 1 stack of [Powder Stigma] is consumed to deal Anemo Damage. |
| Skill Effects |
|---|
|
Fluorescent Eclosion
Enters [Flamboyance] state and gains the ability to fly. When in [Flamboyance] state, Psyche can only use skills and shoot. [Flamboyance] state continuously consumes Sanity, and when Sanity drops to 0 or this skill is used again, [Flamboyance] state ends. When Psyche's HP percentage is above 15%, [Flamboyance] state consumes HP instead of Sanity. The consumed HP will be converted into Ultra Shield at a certain percentage. |
| Skill Effects |
|---|
|
Amberlight
When dealing CRIT damage, Psyche gains one of the following buffs at random: ATK Boost, Skill Damage Boost, or Resolve Boost. Increases Psyche's damage for each buff she gains, up to 12 buffs. |
|
Ephemeral as Dew
When using [Fluorescent Eclosion], if Psyche's HP percentage is no less than 75%, gains [Ephemeral as Dew]. [Ephemeral as Dew]: When triggering the effect of Morale/Resolve, it regards Psyche's HP percentage as 1%. This effect can only be triggered once every 120s. |
|
Mirth Carries
[Available only when deployes as a Combat Partner] Increases ATK for self and Anemo allies. |
| Why We Recommend It | |
|---|---|
| I1 | ★★★★★ - Amazing! Psyche's Skill, Phototaxis, will now restore HP, which vastly extends her time when using her HP- and Sanity-draining Ultimate Skill, Fluorescent Eclosion. |
| I2 | ★★★☆☆ - Good Flamboyance can fire a lot of Ethereal Powder, which provides a lot of chances to spawn a Phantasm. |
| I4 | ★★★★☆ - Great Psyche in Flamboyance now has hitstun immunity and the damage taken has decreased. This helps Psyche survive better and it's hard for her to get interrupted. |
| I6 | ★★★★★ - Amazing! Psyche can deal significantly more damage during Flamboyance state. |
Intron 3 and 5 are just stat boosts. So, they are not included in the table above!
Psyche's Intron 1 is essential to her as it will keep her from leaving her flying Flamboyance state, her main source of damage.
| Intron Effect | |
|---|---|
| I1 | Using Chrysalis Dreamweave or Phototaxis restores 10.0% of Psyche's Max HP and increases Psyche's damage by 35.0% for 12s. |
| I2 | While in Flamboyance, fires 16 Ethereal Powder particles every 5s. When Ethereal Powder or Powder Stigma deals damage, there is a 35.0% chance to spawn a Phantasm at the target's location. |
| I3 | Chrysalis Dreamweave Level +2; Amberlight Level +1. |
| I4 | When in Flamboyance state, Psyche gains Eclosion. Eclosion: Grants immunity to Hitstun, decreases Damage Taken by 25.0%, and increases Auto Pick-up Range by 15, |
| I5 | Fluorescent Eclosion Level +2; Amberlight Level +1. |
| I6 | During Flamboyance state, increases Psyche's PEN stats by 50.0%. |
Psyche's regular skill, Chrysalis Dreamweave, allows her to dash and create a Phantasm clone that slows down enemies. After 5 seconds, it explodes, dealing Anemo DMG. You can use this ability as a mobility tool to escape from large enemy waves.
While in her Flamboyance state, this skill transforms into Phototaxis, a mid-air dash that releases Anemo DMG projectiles.
Fluorescent Eclosion lets Psyche enter the Flamboyance State. She gains the ability to fly and can access her Consonance Weapon, Icarus. This uses Sanity and will end once it reaches 0.
If she has at least 15% HP, she uses this stat instead of her Sanity, converting all consumed HP into an Ultra Shield. Furthermore, if she gets to trigger Resolve or Morale, her HP will be considered as 1%, which works extremely well with Resolve's multipliers that increase with lower HP. Do note that this effect can only be triggered every 120 seconds.
While in the Flamboyance State, spam Ranged Attacks to fight against enemies. She will be consuming HP during this time, allowing her to extend the duration and increase the chance to trigger Resolve.
You can use her transformed skill, Phototaxis, in this state to dash in the air and deal extra Anemo DMG. However, this can drain her Sanity a bit faster, so be mindful when using this ability.
Psyche gives an ATK Boost to all Anemo allies if you have her as a Combat Partner. Make sure to activate this skill for it to apply to your team.

For a limited time, you can get Psyche for free from Immersive Theatre. It's an event that rewards you with stars for completing combat trials, which you can trade in for character's Secret Letters.
Do note that when Fina releases in November 25, 2025, Psyche will be replaced by her in the Immersive Theater.
