Tabethe is an amazing support unit that lets her provide Skill DMG boosts from both her regular skill and Combat Partner passive. She also generates multiple Tentacles from her Ultimate and regular attacks, providing extra damage and crowd-control.
Do note that her potential as a DPS unit isn't that good and her performance is a lot better by using her as a Combat Partner.

Tabethe is mainly built as a support that buffs Skill DMG, so her damage isn't much of a focus. For this build, you'll want to get more Skill Duration to extend her buff as much as possible.
Her damage mostly comes from her regular attacks and her Tentacles are mainly supplementary. Get extra ATK, Hydro DMG, and some DMG reduction.

Shackle of Lonewolf is ideal since it allows Tabethe to get more consistent Tentacle summons with her passive, as well as giving extra ATK to other allies in the team. This can also be improved by having more CRIT Chance, so equipping Ironforger is also an option.
If you already have enough CRIT Chance from other sources, it's better to get Pyrothirst to extend her Skill DMG Boost's duration or Blade Amberglow for a flat ATK increase.

Tabethe's main value comes from her Skill DMG buffing. Having Arclight Apocalypses improves her buff's duration on top of granting another random buff to allies when you CRIT.
If you want to build Tabethe with more damage, Sacrosanct Chorus, Flamme De Epuration, and Silent Sower are good choices since they can trigger her extra Tentacle summon passive a lot more frequently on top of dealing more damage with her regular attacks.

Tabethe is a strong support unit to Rebecca since her main damage source is Skill DMG and both of them deploy summons in the field. Furthermore, Truffle and Filbert gives DMG buffs, as well as extra Resolve since there are two Hydro characters in the party.

Tabethe is a great buffer to any DPS that scales off Skill DMG. She can fit in most teams, including a setup with Lady Nifle who deals huge damage with her skills. Tabethe also provides some crowd-control to assist teammates in battle.

Use Ranged Weapons to Summon Tentacles
Tabethe's kit allows her to summon Tentacles on the field. You can passively generate these by getting Critical hits with her ranged weapon.
Activate Ultimate to Manage Enemy Waves
When hordes of enemies are approaching you, use her Ultimate, Brawl for Justice!, to immediately summon 9 Tentacles in the area. These Tentacles can capture enemies and immobilize them, allowing for better wave management.
Coordinate Tentacle Attacks with Tabethe's Specialty
Tabethe's regular skill, Tabethe's Specialty, allows her to coordinate all of the Tentacles to attack. Use this to your advantage by using this ability when you have a lot of her summons generated, such as after using her Ultimate, Brawl for Justice.
Boost Skill DMG with Her Abilities
You can boost Skill DMG with her Regular Skill, Tabethe's Specialty and by having her as a Combat Partner through her Novelty passive. The buff can be upgraded by leveling up her regular skill.
How to Get Tabethe
Get Through the Secret Letter System
Most of the characters in Duet Night Abyss can be obtained through the Secret Letter system. Using 10 Secret Letter Clues, you can buy the Secret Letter of Tabethe, which can be opened after completing a Covert Commission stage.
After opening a Secret Letter, it has a chance to drop a Thought. You then need 30 pieces of a Thought to unlock Tabethe. Do note that Secret Letters are not guaranteed to drop a Thought!
Use Phoxene Plumule to Buy Thoughts
If you go to the Shop via the pause menu, you can buy a character's Thought for 150 Phoxene Plumule, which is the game's premium currency and can be bought using real money.
