How to Unlock Introns

Gather Character Thoughts

Thoughts Shop
Thoughts are primarily used for unlocking characters. Once a character has been unlocked, any Thoughts gathered can go towards unlocking their Introns.

Thoughts can be acquired through the Items tab in the Shop or by using Secret Letters with Covert Commissions.

Get Phoxene Plumules

Phoxene Plumule
Players can use Phoxene Plumules instead of Thoughts to level up Introns. Phoxene Plumules are the premium currency for Duet Night Abyss. These can be acquired through the Phoxene Plumule tab in the Shop.

Phoxene Plumules cannot be used for the Introns of Vita, the main protagonist. Vita's Thoughts can be obtained by progressing through the main questline.

They Are Character-Specific Power-Ups

Introns
An Intron is an unlockable augment that can significantly strengthen characters in damage and survivability.

Unlike other ways of powering characters up, like with Demon Wedges and leveling up, Introns are completely unique to each character. Each character has 6 Introns to be unlocked.
