Find the Source of the Strange Singing

Duet Night Abyss The Sorrows of Miss Crate Crate Map Location
Go to a narrow alley at the edge of Icelake Suburban Square near the Sanctuary to check out the source of the strange singing. As soon as you reach the area, a cutscene will begin where the Phoxhunter investigates the singing in the alleyway.

A voice from a crate in the corner will call out to them. They will approach the crate and talk to it.

Ask Around About the Strange Crate

Duet Night Abyss The Sorrows of Miss Crate Giselle
Leave the alley and talk to the young woman standing just around the corner. She will introduce herself as Giselle, a fellow Phoxhunter who is willing to help you solve the mystery of the strange crate.

In turn, she will ask you to collect herbs and drop them off at The Asphodel.

Ask About Giselle at the Tavern

Duet Night Abyss The Sorrows of Miss Crate Ask About Giselle
Teleport to The Asphodel and talk to Camilla, who will forward Giselle's payment and give you a letter from the mysterious crate you talked to at the beginning of the quest.

When asked about Giselle, Camilla will reveal that she was once a member of the Escort, but resigned 16 years ago due to a clash with her superiors. This will unlock the clue, Giselle's Resignation from the Escort Sixteen Years Ago

Return to Giselle for Answers

Go back to the place where you first talked to Giselle.

Instead of finding your fellow Phoxhunter, however, you will see a Legion soldier and two nobles loudly discussing the disappearance of an heiress and her possible kidnapper. This will unlock the clue, The Kidnapped Heiress.
