Zhiliu is a Skill DMG-oriented Electro character whose main gimmick is how her ultimate can come in 3 different forms, depending on how players utilize their active skill.
One of her ultimate ability forms allow her to deal big damage to multiple enemies over a huge area, making her great for mobbing.

Zhiliu works best with plenty of Skill Intensity and Morale, so our build invests heavily into those two stats in order to maximize her damage output. Other notable stats worth building include Skill Range, Skill Efficiency, and ATK, though these should have less priority over the prior two.

Zhiliu performs best when equipped with her signature weapon, the Eternal Farewell, which increases both her Morale and her Skill Intensity, two of her most important stats.
If Eternal Farewell is unavailable, the next best thing is the Wanewraith, which boosts Skill Intensity. Do note that the Wanewraith's lack of Morale from this will lead to a relatively lower damage output.

Zhiliu's high damage kit works best when alongside Fushu and Rhythm. Rhythm is here on this team to deal damage and to hold the Wings • Inspo • Morale Demon Wedge that increases the entire team's damage. Both Zhiliu and Rhythm will dish out big AoE damage, with Zhiliu being the designated elite or boss killer. Fushu grants Skill Intensity, on top of healing and Sanity recovery.

Use Celestial Revelation to Prepare For Ultimate Ability
Zhiliu works by using a combination of her Talismans to use a specific form of her Ultimate ability. Celestial Revelation can be casted two different ways, and each way grants Zhiliu one form of Talisman.
Tapping the ability grants the Zhen Talisman while holding it grants the Xun Talisman.
Use Fortune's Clarity to Buff Self
With two Xun Talismans, Zhiliu can use her ultimate to cast the Fortune's Clarity skill, which buffs her own Skill Intensity while also dealing damage.
Use this ability before casting her other abilities for maximum damage output.
Myriad Things Thrive Deals Huge AoE Damage
The reason why Zhiliu is phenomenal in commissions is because of Myriad Things Thrive, which allows her to deal big damage in a large area around her initial casting spot.
This can be casted by using her ultimate when she has one of each distinct Talisman. When at I2, hold this ability to allow her to toggle this ability to run until cancelled or until Sanity runs out.
Use Thunder's Oracle Peal To Burst Enemies
For situations that call for burst damage, use her ultimate when Zhiliu has two Zhen Talismans to cast the Thunder's Oracle Peal, which calls down swords from the sky to strike an area in front of Zhiliu.
How to Get Zhiliu
Get Secret Letters In Immersive Theatre
Zhiliu is the latest character to be featured in Immersive Theatre. That means her Secret Letters can only be farmed through the said event mode.
Eventually, these dedicated Secret Letters can be farmed in Nocturnal Echoes, as with previously featured characters.
Get Through the Secret Letter System
Most of the characters in Duet Night Abyss can be obtained through the Secret Letter system. Using 10 Secret Letter Clues, you can buy the Secret Letter of Zhiliu, which can be opened after completing a Covert Commission stage.
After opening a Secret Letter, it has a chance to drop a Thought. You then need 30 pieces of a Thought to unlock Zhiliu. Do note that Secret Letters are not guaranteed to drop a Thought!
Use Phoxene Plumule to Buy Thoughts
If you go to the Shop via the pause menu, you can buy a character's Thought for 150 Phoxene Plumule, which is the game's premium currency and can be bought using real money.

tbh she is pretty mediocre. I got her to I2 hoping her dots will do justice on act 12 but fischl seems to be doing better damage.
