Duet Night Abyss was released on October 28, 2025, at 10:00 (UTC+8) for all platforms. As previously announced on their Twitter post, all characters and weapons are free; therefore, they can be unlocked normally.
Players are able to receive pre-registration rewards through the in-game mail for helping reach all the milestones of the Global Milestones pre-launch event.

The permanent banner, Starlight Rondo, released on October 28th and contains Truffle's Sunlit Gristmill, Rebecca's Veils and Whispers, and two Lustrious weapons: Tideborn Rhapsody and Sunrise Scherzo.

Starlight Rondo is the permanent standard banner for Duet Night Abyss' Myriad cosmetics gacha. Truffle and Filbert's Sunlit Gristmill and Rebecca's Veils and Whispers are currently the only featured Lustrous character costumes in this banner.
For the Lustrous weapons, you have a chance to obtain either the Tideborn Rhapsody for Polearm weapons or the Sunrise Scherzo that's exclusive to the Bow.

Leap! Helix Leap! Web Event
Leap! Helix Leap! is a web event that players can participate in to get various rewards like Pristine Hourglasses and a Geniemon of their own choosing.
The web event started on August 26, 2025 at 19:00 (UTC+8) and was available until October 26, 2025 at 12:00 (UTC+8). The rewards for the event were issued to the in-game mail on October 30, 2025 (UTC+8).

Global Milestone Rewards
All of the Phoxhunters who pre-registered before the game's release got 20 Pristine Hourglasses for the costume gacha, Myriad, alongside a free character, Berenica, and various other items as part of the Global Milestone rewards.

Ode to the Bloom
Ode to the Bloom is a log-in event that allows players to claim up to 10 Pristine Hourglasses, used for the limited Myriad gacha banners. The event started October 28, 2025 (UTC+8) and ends on November 25, 2025 (UTC+8).
Log in for a total of 7 days! Note that the 7 days don't have to be consecutive during the event.
When Dreams Gild the Night
Players can try out new character skins in the When Dreams Gild the Night event! There are trial stages to see how Psyche, Rebecca, and Truffle and Filbert's skins look in combat. The event started on October 28, 2025 (UTC+8) and lasts until December 22, 2025 (UTC+8)!
Immersive Theater
From October 28, 2025 (UTC+8) to November 25 25, 2025 (UTC+8), the Immersive Theater event wil be available. It is a combat mode where players can try timed stages to earn star ratings and rewards based on their performance!

Creatures That Accompany Characters
Geniemons are magical creatures that usually float around your character as you travel. They can help by revealing hidden treasures or also provide support during combat!
Note that each Geniemon provides your characters with a unique set of passive buffs and active support abilities. Catching every unique Geniemon you see ensures that you have a wide array of options you can choose from to pair up with your character perfectly.

Main Story Bosses
Main Story Bosses are bosses that you can encounter as you progress through the Main Quest of the game. Defeating a Main Story boss unlocks its enhanced version in the form of Nocturnal Echoes, where you can challenge them to get items that can be used for crafting.
Nocturnal Echoes
When you defeat a boss in a Main Quest, you'll be able to unlock an enhanced version of them which you can challenge in Nocturnal Echoes. This is one of the ways you can earn crafting materials.

You can usually encounter enemies in Duet Night Abyss during Main Quests, Comissions, or when you're out of safe zones. The enemies come in waves, but are often easily defeated!

Side Quests are optional quests that contain additional stories related to the main story and serves to add more insight to the world of Duet Night Abyss. You can get these quests as soon as players reach Chapter 1 of the main story and can often be accepted from NPCs.

Special Side Quests are short quests that requires players to finish before they can continue the main quest. These quests usually introduce and unlock essential gameplay features for the players, making them very important to do.
