How to Get and Use Mounts

Mount is a new feature that lets you ride vehicles and creatures around Atlasia in Duet Night Abyss (DNA). Read on to learn how to get mounts, how to use them, how to unlock them, their features, and more!

Get a Free Mount

Purchase from the shop
Players are confirmed to receive a free mount, the Mecha-Sable Bi’an.

It is currently unknown whether additional free mounts will be given.

Additional Mounts can be purchased from the Shop. The mounts available to purchase in this update include Filbert, Let’s Go Go Go!, Blade-Run Knight, and Mecha-Taihao.

It still unknown how to use mounts, however mounts may possibly be accessible through the main menu in a dedicated tab, similar to the Armoury, as the menu still have space for several tabs.

Mounts might possibly be accessed through the Tactical Backpack, similar to how Character Sigils are summoned. Players might need to equip mounts in the Tactical Backpack before summoning them.

How to Use Mount - Mecha-Sable Bi

To unlock Mounts and gain the ability to ride them, players must first complete the Mr. Qiu’s Investment quest. Completing this quest unlocks the Mount feature and rewards players with their first free mount, Mecha-Sable Bi’an.

How to Use Mount - Mounting Ability

Trailer footage suggests that mounts have a dash ability, as the mounted Mecha Sable Bi’an is shown dashing in a manner similar to character dashes.

It is currently unknown whether all Mounts share this ability or if each mount has its own unique abilities.

Flight

How to Use Mount - Flight Ability
Mounts also to have the ability to fly. Trailer footage shows Mecha Sable Bi’an performing a double jump, after which a third jump allows it to take flight.

Obtain Reputation Perks to Fly

Upon reaching specific thresholds in Regional Reputation System, you will unlock the region’s Reputation Perks, which can be used to enable flight in that region.
