Complete Daily Memo Tasks
To raise your Trial Rank Level, you need Trial EXP. Doing your Daily Memos is a consistent way to earn it, as reaching the 200 Progress maximum will award you a total of 500 Trial EXP.
Dailies Guide: Things to Do Every New Day
Upgrade Your Characters
Ascending your characters will also grant you some Trial EXP. The amount gained increases with the Ascension Phase, meaning that later Ascensions grant more EXP.
Additionally, unlocking an Intron Level for a character will provide 250 Trial EXP. A total of 1500 EXP can be obtained by unlocking all 6 of a character's Intron levels.

Do Main and Side Quests
Completing both Main Story and Side Quests will provide players with varying amounts of Trial EXP. Check your quest log often to see if there is a quest you can tackle!
Farm Demon Wedges
Doing the Noctoyager Manual stages will award players with Demon Wedges, with each new Demon Wedge encountered providing 100 Trial EXP. Complete these stages to unlock new Demon Wedges for Trial EXP, and to strengthen your characters.
Open Chests in the Overworld
Trial EXP is also awarded for opening Chests scattered across the overworld. Be sure to open any you come across for a small bit of EXP.
