Version 1.1 of Duet Night Abyss (DNA) will most likely be released near the end of December 2025. See the Version 1.1 release date, as well as the new characters, weapons, map, bosses, demon wedges, and other new additions coming in Version 1.1.

Version 1.1 Release Date
Most Likely Near The End of December 2025
The Global Launch Livestream last October 25, 2025 confirmed that Version 1.1 is coming to the game.
Its exact release date hasn’t been announced yet but since the Immersive Theatre refreshes every 28 days and Fina enters the rotation on November 25, Version 1.1 will likely drop around the third week of December.
Luno's Bulletin Ⅲ: Future Version Updates & Optimizations confirms that there will be a livestream mid-December where players will most likely learn more about Version 1.1.
New redeem codes will most likely be given away during the livestream as well, so stay tuned for that!

Confirmed Characters
Fushu
Fushu is one of the five characters revealed for Version 1.1.
According to the Global Launch Special Program livestream, Fushu appears to be one of the guardians who protect the realm.
In previous Beta Tests, she was available as a Hydro-element support healer. Her voice actor, Crystal Yu, also referred to her as a healer in "✦ Fushu's Voice Actor Sends Release Day Greetings!". However, it is still unclear if her role will remain the same in Version 1.1.

Kezhou
Kezhou is another playable character from the Huaxu region.
In the Closed Beta Test II, he was associated with the Lumino element and his weapon proficiency was for both Sword and an Assault rifle.
Kezhou’s role in the main story has not been officially clarified. However, the Global Launch Special Program depicted him as someone who does not follow the gods or the heavens, appearing to prioritize his sword above all else.
This has led to speculation that he may serve as an opposing force or possible adversary at some point in the storyline.

Yuming
Yuming is speculated to be released in Version 1.1.
In previous Beta Tests, Yuming was available as an Electro element user who wielded a Polearm. Given his design, it is highly likely that these traits will remain unchanged in Version 1.1.

Zhiliu
Zhiliu is another character speculated to debut in Version 1.1 of the game.
In the Closed Beta Test, she wielded the Electro element and had weapon proficiency with both a Greatsword and Dual Pistols.
According to her voice actor, Quanna Luo Masterson, in "✦ Zhiliu's Voice Actor Sends Release Day Greetings!", Zhiliu is portrayed as a skilled starweaver as well as a savvy businesswoman.

New Huaxu Character
A new, previously unseen character is also speculated to debut in Version 1.1.
Currently, no official information about her abilities or background has been released.
Based on her character design—featuring pigtails and a predominantly green color scheme—she may be associated with the Anemo element.
The livestream also depicted her working on a device, suggesting that she may have a technician or engineer role in the story.

Huaxu
Huaxu is the latest region set to debut in Version 1.1. While the full map has not yet been revealed, the Global Launch Special Program confirmed that Huaxu will be completely distinct from the Hyperborean Empire, blending Eastern architecture with fantasy elements.
Since the Huaxu expansion will be released in three chapters, it is likely that the region’s map will gradually unfold across these chapters.
The map is most likely going to be similar in size to the Hyperborean Empire, which was also explored over three chapters.
Version 1.1 New Weapons
New Weapons For the New Characters
Version 1.1 is speculated to introduce a new set of weapons for the Huaxu characters, likely aligning with the weapon types of these characters during previous beta tests.
Based on earlier test data, Fushu’s weapon proficiencies included the Whipsword and Bow; Yuming utilized a Polearm and an Assault Rifle; Kezhou is expected to receive a Sword and Assault Rifle; and Zhiliu is anticipated to have a Greatsword and Dual Pistols.
In addition, a new unnamed character from Huaxu is also expected, though their weapon type has not yet been revealed.
