There are two ways you can upgrade your weapons in Duet Night Abyss. You can either upgrade your weapons at the Armoury or by defeating enemies or bosses.

Upgrade Through the Armoury

Duet Night Abyss - Upgrade Weapons

Select Armoury from the menu.
Choose a Character and select the type of weapon.
Select Upgrade on the lower right corner.
Choose your materials to be added in the lower right corner and how many levels you want to upgrade.
Select Upgrade to complete the process.

You can upgrade your preferred weapon by accessing the Armoury from the Menu and then selecting how many levels you want to upgrade the weapon.

Each upgrade costs Weapon Manuals and Coins, depending on the level you want to upgrade. These also require Be mindful of this cost, as you may want to level other weapons as well!

Weapon Manuals can be earned as rewards from quests, Covert Commissions, or as random drops. Alternatively, these can be farmed by doing Commission: Termination.

Coins, on the other hand, can be acquired a number of ways, with the best farming methods being Commission: Excavation ∞ or Mystic Maze.

Ascend After Every 10 Levels

Weapon Ascension

Every 10 levels, you will be required to Ascend your weapon before you are able to upgrade its level any further.

These require the player to be at a certain Trial Rank, with every 5 Trial Ranks unlocking a new tier of Ascension. This process also requires Weapon Components of different types and rarities.

Weapon Components can be farmed through Commission: Mediation.

By Defeating Enemies and Bosses

Defeating enemies can grant Weapon EXP depending on the level of the enemies. The higher the level of the enemies, the bigger the Weapon EXP it grants.
