What is Thought?
Item for Unlocking Character and Intron
Thought is an item used exclusively to unlock Characters and their related Introns. To unlock a character or Intron, you will need 30 of the same Character Thought, which may be obtained from the Shop or from Secret Letters.
How to Get Character Thoughts
Purchase from the Thought Shop
Character Thoughts can be obtained by purchasing them from the shop in the Items menu. Each Thought costs 150 Phoxene Plumule, and you'll need 30 of them to unlock a character, making the total 4500.
Purchase Directly from the Character Screen
If you already have 4500 Phoxene Plumule, go right to the character screen and select the character you want to unlock.
Obtain by Opening Secret Letters
Another way to get Character Thoughts is to open Secret Letters. To purchase one Secret Letter, you will only need to spend ten Secret Letter Clues. Each Secret Letter can provide you up to ten Character Thoughts, but this is not guaranteed.
How to Get Character Secret Letters
Go to the shop and then to the Covert Commissions menu. From there, select the Character secret letter that you want to purchase.
How to Open Character Secret Letters
Once you've gotten the Secret Letter, go to the Covert Commisions section of your Combat menu, then Character, and finally the commission you want to challenge. Before starting the challenge, make sure you've chosen the secret letter you wish to open.
After completing the challenge, you will receive a random reward from the Secret Letter you choose at the start, one of which is the Character Thoughts.
How to Use Character Thoughts
Used to Unlock Characters and Introns
The main purpose of the Character Thoughts is to unlock characters and Introns. As previously stated, you will need 30 to unlock a character and one Intron level.

How to Unlock Characters and Introns Using Thoughts
| Step-by-Step Guide | |

| 1 |  Once you have 30 of the same Character Thoughts, go to your Character screen or the Armoury. |
| 2 |  Once there, click on the character you wish to unlock. Characters that are available for unlocking will usually have a red mark on their icon. |
| 3 |  Then you should see the Reminiscence button in the character's bottom right corner; simply click it to unlock the character. Take note that if you don't have enough Thoughts, you can use Phoxene Plumule to get the remaining. |
| 4 |  Similar for Intron, from the character screen, select the Intron button. On the Intron screen, click on the Intron you want to unlock and then press Unlock. Take note that you can only unlock Intron once you have unlocked a character, and you cannot unlock a higher level of Intron without first unlocking the previous levels. |
