Continue Searching for the Airship
You can safely ignore or run past the remaining Filthoids by running further up the mountain and into another cavern. Another gate will block your way. This puzzle will be as easy as the last one. Solve it to leave the Ruins.
Defeat the Soldiers and Try to Escape
As soon as you leave the Ruins, you will encounter Soldiers from the 13th Legion. Hordes of them will attack you as soon as you notice them.
They are stronger than Filthoids and there will be plenty of them, but Berenica can make quick work of these enemies.
After defeating the soldiers, more of them will arive, led by Randy of the 13th Legion. Airships will fly in and start to attack Berenica and the Phoxhunter. The cutscene will end with the two of them escaping from the soldiers and bombs.
Escape from the Soldiers' Besiegement
For the next phase of the quest, you will appear inside a large tunnel, away from the airships.
More soldiers will greet you and the airships will attack the mountain instead. This section will take a bit more skill as large rocks will rain down from the cave.
Try to safely dodge them and all obstacles while striking the Soldiers standing in your way.
Escape from the Place
Keep running until you have safely left the tunnel. As soon as you move closer to the mountain, a cutscene begins in which Sibylle of the 13th Legion and the rest of the army will ambush you and Berenica.

Berenica will face off against Sibylle in order to protect you, which will initiate your first boss fight. This will be a fairly long, yet easy battle as it is meant to be a tutorial boss fight.
Attacks will whittle down her Stance bar. Once it is completely depleted, she will enter a brief period of complete vulnerability. Get close and use that window to deal a heavy blow.
After Sibylle is defeated, the final cutscene will begin, marking the end of Whispers of the Sands and the Prologue.

The Sibylle boss fight in Prologue serves as a tutorial boss fight and introduces Stance Breaking and using the Ultimate Skill.
