Geniemons can be ascended up to three times in Duet Night Abyss (DNA), improving their abilities and unlocking slots for additional traits. Learn how to ascend Geniemons and why you should ascend them in this guide!

Reach Level Cap

Geniemons Level Cap
Like with characters, Geniemons also have a level cap. They can first undergo Ascension once they reach Level 20.

Once a Geniemon has Ascended, they start again at Level 1. They must then reach the next level cap to Ascend again.

How to Level Up Geniemon

Acquire Yum-Yum Milk

Memento Store Yum-Yum Milk
You will need Yum-Yum Milk and Coins to Ascend your Geniemon. Yum-Yum Milk can only be obtained via the Memento store in the Immersive Theatre.

One Yum-Yum Milk costs 1000 Ticket Stubs. The Memento store only sells one per month, so make sure to get it each time the store resets.

Select a Max-Level Geniemon

Select Max-Level Geniemon
Choose the max-level Geniemon that you want to Ascend from the Geniemons tab in the Armoury.

Ascend with Yum-Yum Milk

Ascension Materials
Click on Ascend and select the Yum-Yum Milk or press the Auto-Select button to fill in the slots. Press Ascend once again to complete the process.

Why Ascend Geniemons

Unlock Geniemon Trait Slots

Geniemon Traits
Ascending Geniemons is the only way to open their Trait slots. This allows them to merge with Inactive Geniemons and gain new passive buffs.

Geniemons' existing passive buffs and support ability only get boosted from Ascension and gain no benefit from leveling up alone.
