How to Beat Elder Disciples
Aim For the Elder Disciple First
The Elder Disciple spawns in zombies and empowers them, so prioritize eliminating the Discpiples first. This prevents an overwhelming horde of enhanced zombies, which can make the Disciple harder to reach.
Use Decoys to Lure the Normal Zombies Away
 Decoy Grenade

Decoy Grenades are a perfect counter to distract the horde of zombies, allowing you to focus the Elder Disciple first and then mop up the remaining zombies afterward.
Use the Ray Gun Mark II-P
The Ray Gun Mark II-P variant is highly effective against Elder Disciples and needed for the Shattered Veil Easter Egg quest segment. It also excels at clearing the zombies they spawn.
Where to Find Elder Disciples
Only Appear in Shattered Veil From Round 16
The Elder Disciple is a variant of the Disciple. This variant only spawns as part of the Zombie Horde in the Shattered Veil map during and after Round 16.
Find Three During the Antler Carving Ritual Portion
In one of the three rituals required for the Shattered Veil Easter Egg quest, you must find three chalices at set locations on the map. Activating each chalice spawns an Elder Disciple that you must defeat.
Shattered Veil Easter Egg Walkthrough
Elder Disciple Mini-Boss
At the end of the Antler Carving ritual, the mini-boss that spawns for you to defeat is a more powerful Elder Disciple that activates a shield. The shield can be broken by shooting it with the Ray Gun Mark II-P.
