Weapons can be inspected by holding the left D-Pad button or I key in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (BO6). See how to inspect weapons, if it's possible to inspect weapons in campaign, and what weapon inspection is.

How to Inspect Weapon

Hold the Left D-Pad on Controller or I on PC to Inspect

Keyboard
(PC)		 Press I on your keyboard.
Controller
(Playstation / Xbox)
Press and hold the PNG - Dpad Left(Left D-PAD)

Simply press and hold the Left D-Pad on the controller or press I on the keyboard to inspect your weapon. An animation will play examining your equipped weapon, and can be cancelled at any time by shooting or switching weapons.

Weapon inspect animations work for all weapons (including melee weapons and launchers) in BO6 Multiplayer and Zombies.

Can You Inspect Weapons in Campaign?

Weapon Inspection Unavailable in Campaign

Weapon inspection only works in Multiplayer and Zombies modes. If you want to see how your gun looks in Campaign Mode from another perspective, you can drop your gun on the ground.

What is Weapon Inspection?

Examining the Weapon Skin in a Match

Weapon inspection is a way of checking out your weapon skin while in a match. Most players usually do this during downtimes in a match, but don't overdo it as you never know when an enemy might pop out of the corner.
