Collateral Kills or collats require you to kill 2 or more enemies with a single bullet in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 (BO6). Read on to learn more about what Collateral Kills are and how to get them in-game.

What are Collateral Kills?

Killing 2 or More Enemies with 1 Bullet

Collateral Kills or collats (as they are usually referred to) are multi-kills using only one bullet. You will need to kill 2 or more enemies using one bullet to register a collateral kill for a related challenge in BO6.

How to Get Collateral Kills

Play Domination for Predictable Enemy Spawns

Since you'll be playing using a sniper rifle, it is best to queue up for game modes like Domination as it will be easier to figure out enemy spawn rotations when objectives are involved. Play map chokepoints and hold for enemy pushes in order to fish out a collateral when enemies bunch up.

Go for Spawn Peeks in Round-Based Game Modes

Spawn peeking during round start in round-based game modes like Search and Destroy can make it easier to get Collateral Kills. While this requires quite a bit of map knowledge, it can be one of the easiest way to get a collateral kill in BO6.

Cannot Be Farmed in Private Lobbies

As with all challenge-related kills, collateral kills cannot be farmed or earned in Private Lobbies. These kills will only count if done in public matchmaking lobbies in BO6 Multiplayer.
