Note: This range value was tested in a private multiplayer lobby using a sniper rifle that had the Remuda Range Finder attachment. Multiple ranges were tested including 50m, 50.7m, 50.8m, 50.9m, and 51m.

Does not Require a Specific Gun

Longshot kills do not require a specific gun to be achieved as long as you kill an enemy that is at least 50.8 meters away. However, it's easier to complete this challenge using marksman rifles and sniper rifles as their damage and range are higher than pistols or SMGs.

It actually does depend on the gun, as you can get shotgun and pistol long shots around 20ish meters and i believe marksman rifles are around 40m

This is incorrect. I believe it is 50-60, but it is certainly not 30.
