How to Use the Interactive Map

The Interactive Map both shows the location of key points on the map, and doubles as a collectible checker.

1. Click an icon on the right side to show all the pins of a specific type, or click the magnifying glass button to search for a specific pin by name.
2. Click a pin on the map to see its name and description, and a relevant picture or video if available.
3. From here, click Mark as Acquired to indicate that you've gotten a collectible already. This will change its icon on the map to show that it has been collected, and add 1 to that pin type's Counter.
4. To undo this, click on the same pin and click Restore to unclaimed.
5. To check how many pins you have marked so far, check the Counter in the bottom left, and click the icon that looks like a checklist to see counters for all pin types.
6. If the collected pins start to get in the way, you can hide them all by clicking the green Show Pins button on the left side.

	Show Names This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown.
	Show Pins This button will toggle between showing and hiding all the pins which you have already marked as acquired.
	Fullscreen This button will change the map display to fill the screen.
	Search Mode Toggle This button will display a searchbar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name.
	Icon Mode Toggle In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again.
	All Pins This button is shown along with the Icons on the right when there are over 6 types of pins. Click it for a full selection of all available pin types.
	Counter Tracks the number of pins you have of a certain type. The pin type shown is set to the page and currently cannot be changed; however, all pin type counters can be viewed by clicking the checklist icon on the right side.
	View All Counters This icon is found on the right side of the Counter. When a map has more than one pin type, click this icon to see Counters for all pin types.
	Zoom In / Zoom Out This icon is found on the top left side of the map. You can press these buttons, or use your scroll wheel while hovering, to Zoom In and Out of the interactive map.

Fully Upgrade Your Equipments

Taking on Mega Abominations is an extremely daunting task. To be successful in this mission, you must upgrade your weapons to Epic or Legendary rarity and have them Pack-a-Punch to level 3. Anything lower than these recommendations will result in longer kill times, which might lead to failure.

It's also recommended to have 3-Plate Vests with numerous Armor Plate reserves to survive the Mega Abomination's attacks. You can obtain one for free after opening Mercenary Stronghold safes or buying it from medium-threat Buy Stations.

Consume Perk-a-Colas

Multiple Perk-a-Colas are essential to defeating a Mega Abomination. Before hunting one, you must at least have Quick Revive, Stamin-Up, Speed Cola, Jugger-Nog, and Deadshot Daiquiri.

It's best to craft Perk-a-Colas through Crafting Schematics or get them free through the Mister Perks Easter eggs so you won't have to spend essence.

If you're looking for a specific perk, you can proceed to the Der Wunderfizz, found in the high-threat zone. This Perk Machine will allow you to purchase whichever perk you want.

Shoot its Glowing Mouth

To deal the maximum damage possible to a Mega Abomination, you must shoot its critical spot or weak point, which is its glowing mouth. Try to aim for this area as much as you can to take it down quickly.

Shooting its glowing mouth or throwing a grenade at it is also the only way to cancel its laser beams.

Use Juggernauts

Using Juggernauts are also highly recommended when taking down the Mega Abomination. Aside from dealing extreme amounts of damage, you will also be able to tank the Mega Abomination's hits for a good duration.

You can obtain a Juggernaut through random Loot Caches and Reward Rifts, or you may also buy one at the high-threat Buy Station.

Equip Napalm Burn Ammo Mod

The Napalm Burn Ammo Mod is extremely effective against enemies with high HP since the burning damage can chunk a good portion of their health. Equip this Ammo Mod if you're going against the Mega Abomination or any Elite Zombies with high HP, for that matter.

Lure Megabomb to Medium-Threat Zone

If you find the Mega Abomination around the bridge that connects the high and medium threat zones, you can try luring it to the medium-threat zone.

This will not decrease the damage of the Megabomb whatsoever, but it will lessen the burden of having strong zombies spawn around it, as you only need to deal with tier 2 zombies.

Invite Other Squad Members

Having more than 3 squad members will significantly increase your chances of success. Not only do you have more people shooting at the Mega Abomination, you also have more people to cover and revive each squad member.
