Modern Warfare 3 - Buy Stations in Medium Threat Areas

3-Plate Armor Vests can be bought from Buy Stations located in Medium Threat zones for 10,000 Essence. These areas are marked with an orange highlight on your Tac-Map and is usually infested with tougher zombies who are wearing armor themselves, as well as Special and Elite zombies such as Mimics and Manglers.

You can also get 2-Plate Armor Vests in the Medium and Low Threat Zones (for 2,000 Essence).

Allows You to Wear Up to Three Armor Plates

Modern Warfare 3 - 3-Plate Armor Vest Increases Defense

When equipped with a 3-Plate Armor Vest, it gives you the ability to wear up to three armor plates, increasing your defense and making you withstand attacks from zombies and mercenaries for a longer duration.

Finding and wearing this high tier vest is recommended if you're planning to clear out Mercenary Strongholds, or if you're up for a bigger challenge, you can take on the Legacy Fortress.
