Threat Identification System is a Gear Perk in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3). Read on to learn how to use the Threat Identification System and unlock the Threat Identification System!

Equipping the Threat Identification System allows you to automatically mark enemies on the minimap when aiming down sights. This also pings enemies for your allies, making it a great supportive tool.
Enemies who have a Ghost T/V Camo on won't be tagged so don't spend too much time trying to mark them.
The Threat Identification System is unlocked for your loadout by reaching level 25 and activating it at the Armory and completing 8 Challenges. Armory Unlock Challenges are completed by finishing Daily and Bonus Challenges.
