Mimir said of Hildr: "Mistress of Battle. She and Odin got on quite well, actually. Her and the other Valkyries... not so much. She would spent much of her time here in Midgard, observing discord between the living, and stirring some up herself from time to time. She lived for conflict. Some say she WAS conflict, personified. I wonder what will become of her, now that she's free."

Valkyrie Hildr Location

Hildr can be found within the maze that is Ivaldi's Workshop in the realm of Niflheim. You can find the arena with her inside in one of the optional paths along the upper left portion of the diamond shaped maze.

World View	Guide
	When you enter the maze, make a left from the first area.
	Head through the small area to the larger area. From there, take the only way out to the right.
	In the small area, take the left path to the Valkyrie.

NOTE! Ivaldi's Workshop changes everytime you exit and enter it. However, the path to Hildr remains the same.

Valkyrie Hildr Fight Guide

Opening Attack

As is usual, open up with Runic attacks against her as she opens her wings. However, even if you choose not to open the battle this way, Hildr is easy enough to defeat by learning her attack patterns without having to get in cheap shots.

Valkyrie Hildr Attack Patterns

Attack 1

Hildr will charge at you with her Scythe. She will unleash a whirling attack, which she quickly follows up with another. Try to parry the first, and if you can't, evade. If you attempt to block the first, you'll be staggered and left vulnerable to the follow up attack.

Attack 2

An unblockable strike where she drags her Scythe along the ground to send a wave at you. Evade this.

Attack 3

The last of her attack types, Hildr will send a stream of Ice Shafts you can block your way, before delivering a final and unblockable one you must dodge.

Tips and Strategy

Overall, Hildr is not a difficult opponent to go up against, particularly if you save her battle for last amongst the 8 Valkyries you contend with on your way to Queen Sigrun herself. The most important thing to remember in this battle is to pay attention to the timer on top of your hud, as Ivaldi's Workshop will poison you if you're not careful. It's best to avoid the battles with grunts along the way to Hildr's arena.

Lastly, Hildr possesses the same wing shield as the other Valkyries, and the unblockable wave Valkyries send while in the air.
