How to Unlock Hail to the King

Talk to Brok after obtaining Tyr's Key in A Path to Jotunheim to start the favor.

Note that you need to complete the following favors: Second Hand Soul, Deus Ex Malachite, Fafnir's Hoard, and Family Business to start the side quest.

Head to Konunsgard

	Objectives
1	Talk to Brok to start the favor.
2	Head to the Konunsgard northwest of the Lake of Nine.
3	Head inside the cave and pass by King's Hollow.
4	Use the entry stone to open the gate.

Explore the Stronghold

5	Destroy the Hel Bramble and head down the path.
6	Head right to pick up some Hacksilver and climb the wall to the left.
7	Have Atreus read the Lore Marker and head down the path.
8	Pass by Sindri's shop and head left. Freeze the Scorn Pole and defeat the Hel-Reavers.
9	Open the coffin and defeat the Hel-Reaver that emerges from the inside. More Hel-Reavers will appear to join the fight.
10	Head back to the path and turn right to cross the bridge.
11	Head to the path on the right until you find a Mystic Gateway. Defeat the Hel-Reaver that appears.
12	Head down the bridge and defeat the Hel-Reavers on your way.
13	Freeze the Scorn Pole and make your way to the entrance of the stronghold.
14	Pick up the first entry stone next to the corpse and put it on the pedestal.

Obtain the Second Entry Stone

15	Head left and freeze the Scorn Pole.
16	Destroy the Hel Bramble and head inside the cave.
17	Defeat the Wulvers in the area.
18	Head left and then turn right to find a Soul Devourer in the middle of the area. On the left is a coffin covered with Hel Bramble.
19	Defeating the Soul Devourer rewards you with the following loot: ・Seidr Sigil of Runic Power ・ Etched Crest of Fervor ・Hardened Svartalfheim Steel ・ Hacksilver ・ World Serpent Scale
20	Head up the stairs and destroy the Hel Bramble.
21	Head to the other side and defeat the Wolves in the area.
22	Destroy the chain holding the Light Crystal. Head down the ledge and pick the crystal.
23	Open the gate and defeat the Wolves on the other side. More Wolves and a Wulver will appear when heading to the crystal pedestal.
24	Place the Light Crystal on the pedestal. Have Atreus shoot a Light Arrow to create a path above.
25	Head back to the area with the Soul Devourer. Grab the Winds of Hel and transfer it to the other side of the path leading to the sealed door.
26	Enter the sealed door and pick up some Hacksilver next to the corpses.
27	Climb up the wall and pick up the second entry stone on the altar. Lower the golden chain and return to the starting area.
28	Place the second entry stone on the pedestal.

Obtain the Third Entry Stone

29	Watch out for the Hel-Reavers that appear from the realm tears. Defeat them and head right.
30	Defeat the Hel-Reaver in the area and head right.
31	Defeat the Ogre and climb the wall on the river area.
32	Jump on the platforms and loot the coffin. Lower the golden chain and proceed to the next area.
33	Head down the path to find a chained dragon. See the favor, The Fire of Reginn, to learn how to free the dragon.
34	Jump on the other side of the path and defeat the Reavers and Tatzelwurms. Watch out for Reginn's attacks.
35	Head to the sealed door with the rune symbols. Grab a Shattering Crystal and throw it at the bell with the N rune on it. Have Atreus shoot Shock Arrows to it and to the tree sap next to the C Rune to unlock the door.
36	Head inside and defeat the Tatzelwurms in the area.
37	Destroy the chain to lower the bridge. Have Atreus read the Lore Marker on the right and jump to the next area.
38	Defeat the Dark Elf and the Tatzelwurms and pick up the third entry stone in the area.
39	Use the zip line to head down to the area.
40	Head back to the starting area and put the third entry stone on the pedestal.

Head Inside the Stronghold

41	Enter the stronghold. Turn right to find a Lore Shrine and some Hacksilver.
42	Turn left from the Lore Shrine and loot the coffin to obtain a Mark of the Element.
43	Head to the other side of the hall and follow the path until you find a large door with two dragon statues.
44	Open the door and defeat the Traveler and the Hel-Reavers in the area.
45	Defeating the Traveler rewards you with the Deadly Grips of Vitality Blades Pommel.
46	Follow the blood trail and press the Circle button on the left side of the throne room.

Return to Brok

47	Pick up the scroll next to the corpse.
48	Follow the path to the exit and head right to loot the chest. Inside is the Prometheus Flame Heavy Runic Attack.
49	Head to the main path until you find a part of the stronghold structure. You can find a Nornir Chest upon entering the path next to the torch.
50	Lower the chain to head down next to the Mystic Gateway. Use the gateway to fast travel to Brok's Shop.
51	Talk to Brok to receive a Fire of Ares Heavy Runic Attack, the Dwarven Armor Set, and to complete the favor.

Boss Strategy: Soul Devourer

Use Ranged Attacks

Throw the Leviathan Axe while its chest is exposed to deal damage. Avoid facing it head-on as the boss is resistant to melee attacks.

Pick up the chunks that it drops by pressing the Circle button and throw into its chest when it's exposed to deal massive damage.

Horn of Blood Mead

After emerging from the stronghold's secret passage, follow the path leading to the exit until you find a part of the stronghold. Head left to find the Nornir Chest.

Grab the Winds of Hel and transfer it to the blank bell to reveal the N rune. Grab the winds again so that it shows the N rune and transfer it to the opposite side to reveal both the C and R runes.

Hit the bells in this order: C rune, R rune, and N rune to unlock the chest.
