The Leviathan Axe is one of Kratos's starting weapons and can be unlocked right at the first chapter of the story, The Marked Trees.

 Precision Throw Combo
|
2 | After landing a precision axe throw (weak points and headshots), Press △ during the flash to recall the Leviathan Axe and cause the next throw or melee attack to explode on contact, inflicting FROST damage. |
 Precision Frost Burst
|
3 | Precision Throw Combo now creates a massive explosion on impact. |

 Whirling Storm

2 | While evading, Hold L forward and Press R1 to perform a quick axe attack. |
 Frost Rush

 Glacial Permafrost
