Foothills Nornir Chest Locations

Nornir Chest #1

The region's Nornir Chest is located west of Sindri's shop. You'll need to have three spinning rune mechanisms show the correct runes to unseal the chest. This Nornir Chest contains a Horn of Blood Mead.

1
Find the first mechanism behind the chest and hit either paddle until it shows the rune.
2
Run back down the hill and hit the paddles to reveal the rune.
3
Lastly, go right to find the last mechanism shrouded by a scorn pole. Just hit either paddle twice and it should show the inverted ᛒ rune.

Nornir Chest Locations

Foothills Legendary Chest Locations

Legendary Chest #1

This legendary chest is found in the area where you first fought an Ogre, just before the Mountain's base.

1
Destroy the rock piles by hitting both explosive urns. You will also find a red coffin nearby.
2
Hit another explosive urn just behind the left scorn pole to destroy it.
3
Freeze the remaining scorn pole with your axe to reach the legendary chest.

Legendary Chest #2

The second and last legendary chest for this region is obtainable after completing The Sickness. Go up the area with the scorn poles past Sindri's shop until you reach a fork with a door locked by a wind trap, where the legendary chest is.

1
Go back to the where the scorn poles are then freeze the first one so you can pass through. You'll spot Winds of Hel trapped in Hel's bramble above the red coffin.
2
Grab the winds, run back to the path leading to the locked door, and transfer the winds to the wind trap on your left.
3
Take the winds back then transfer them to the wind trap on the door to unlock it.
