Press the Circle button near a healthstone to stomp on it and restore your Health.
Talismans such as the Talisman of Concentrated Vitality lets you gain a burst of Health when activated.
How to Get the Talisman of Concentrated Vitality
Equipping a piece of the Ivaldi's Armor Set activates a Regenerating Essence passive effect. This effect adds a very small amount of constant Health regeneration that can be stacked up to 5 times, making it one of the best armors available in the game.
Obtaining this armor set requires you to finish Ivaldi's Workshop, Ivaldi's Protection, and Ivaldi's Curse Favors.
Equipping the Cod of War Fin-Wraps allows Kratos to gain a burst of Health when stomping on a Ragestone if his Rage Bar is full.
Obtaining this armor piece requires you to complete the game and start New Game Plus.
Using a Resurrection Stone, when knocked out, lets you gain a burst of Health. This consumable item is highly useful when facing powerful enemies and bosses.
Equipping enchantments such as the Scale of the Mighty adds a burst of Health when Kratos's Health drops to a critical level.

The Runic Vestment armor lets Atreus find and throw Healthstones when Kratos is injured. The upgraded versions also increase the Healthstone potency.
How to Get the Basic Runic Vestment
Enemies sometimes drop Healthstones that you can use during a fight. Bosses also drop them after taking considerable damage.
The Bitter Squirrel Runic Summon allows Atreus to summon Ratatoskr. The summon digs up healthstones that you can use to restore Health.
