This is a walkthrough for The Realm of Fire in God of War (2018) for the PS4. Learn more about the objectives of this side quest, where to find the Muspelheim Ciphers, and quest rewards.

The Realm of Fire starts after picking up a piece of the Muspelheim Cipher.
There are more than four chests containing the Muspelheim Cipher but only four are required to complete the favor.
Head to the Cliffs of the Raven east of the Lake of Nine. You can access this after meeting the World Serpent for the first time.
Look for a wooden barricade and destroy it. Boost Atreus up to have him lower the chains for you.
Climb up the chains and find the chest containing a piece of the Muspelheim Cipher.Note: If you visit this location after completing A New Destination, you must make your way through the area to access the original area.
Head to the Forgotten Caverns. You can access this after meeting the World Serpent for the first time.
Climb up the chain and find the chest at the top.Note: If you visit this location after completing A New Destination, you must head inside the cave and climb the ledges to access to the original area.
During the Path to the Mountain main quest, open the door leading to Vanaheim Tower and head down the cave.Note: You can still access this area by heading up to Vanaheim Tower and going down to the area with the cave walls.
Hit the Scorn Pole with your axe to remove the poison in the area. Drop down the ledge and find the chest.
Once you have traveled to Alfheim for the first time in The Light of Alfheim quest, head to the path and defeat the Dark Elves.
Head right to find a chest containing a piece of the Muspelheim Cipher.
After reaching the summit in A New Destination, you can pass by a chest containing a Muspelheim Cipher on your way to the Mystic Gateway.
Head to the Lookout Tower southeast of the Lake of Nine.Note: If you missed both chests from Alfheim and The Mountain, you can find the last Muspelheim Cipher in this location.
Head to the mechanism and hit it to deactivate the spikes on the wall.
Destroy the wooden barricade and climb the wall.
Hit the mechanism again to deactivate the spikes on the other side. Jump on the other side and pick up the Hacksilver.
Climb up the wall to proceed to the next area.
Destroy the wooden barricade and loot the chest inside.
Climb the wall next to the chest to reach the top. Use the zipline to make your way to the next area.
Defeat the Revenant and the Nightmares in the area. Open up the lore shrine nearby.
Jump on the ledge and climb up the wall.
Open up the chest next to the door to obtain a piece of the Muspelheim Cipher.
Once you have all four ciphers, head to the Realm Travel Room in Tyr's Temple.
Select Muspelheim to travel there.
Enter Muspelheim to complete the favor.
