Nu Gundam Analysis

AoE Healer and Green-Type Buffer

This Green-type version of the Nu Gundam is the best variant so far. Its EX skill hits targets for 693% ATK damage but also heals all allies for 22% max HP like the Red Nu Gundam, and also increases the damage of Green-type allies by 26% for 20 seconds. Thanks to its Skill 2 which grants 50% EX gauge recovery for 60 seconds, the Nu Gundam can cast its EX skill more often than most other units, while also having the ability to use its EX skill early into the match thanks to its Transcendent Skill that allows it to start matches with its EX gauge halfway filled.

On top of its supportive capabilities, it also boasts good damage potential, but it has to ramp up first given its 22% increased beam damage every 5 seconds for a maximum of 110%. It takes 25 seconds for it to reach max power, and it loses the buff after 60 seconds. It's not very strong right when the battle begins, but especially after the first minute of battle. It has a 200,000 damage cap increase, which increases the maximum damage it can deal.

Finally, this mobile suit also gains ramping evasion similar to how it gets beam damage, but it only maxes out at 50%, and you have to wait 25 seconds to get just 50% evasion, which really isn't enough to help it survive.

The Nu Gundam is a great PvE unit given its heal, high damage, and the ability to buff its Green-type allies. It's also good in PvP as it has the fastest heal in the game while having a respectable amount of damage overall.

Stronger When Transcended

Transcending this mobile suit grants 25% more accuracy, which is its only accuracy buff, and 36% beam damage. These aren't too exciting, but at Transcendent Lv. 5, the MS can start battles with its EX gauge already halfway filled, allowing it to get off its AOE heal and damage buff out earlier on in the match. However, you can still find value in this mobile suit without transcending it, especially if you're using it just for PvE.

Potential Unleashed is very important on this MS as it improves the EX skill's damage, heal, and buff potency.

A lot of Amuro's skills are buffs that need to ramp up, so he mostly increases the peak of the mobile suit's power past the 25-second mark up to the first minute.

With Amuro, the Nu Gundam will have a window where it'll have 100% evasion and 75% accuracy.
