In Master Battle, players can challenge previous Events’ "Extra" mission again to earn valuable rewards. Master Battle comes in three stages, with each one having its own difficulty level.

How To Beat Master Battle Story Stage

R-Rarity (And SR) Mission

R Solari Zaku

The best way to grind through this set of challenges is to use a 2-unit squad of the R-rarity Solari Zaku that is purchasable from the Arena Shop, as well as an R-rarity GM (GR). By doing so, players can clear the first 2 missions with just one successful attempt, since the second challenge requires 2 SR-rarity units or lower. Players will still have to win with a single UR unit on a separate run, but that one's rather easy anyway.

The R-rarity Solari Zaku is one of the best R-rarity DPS units in the game, thanks to its having 3 weapons, respectable damage, and some decent defense too. The GM (GR), on the other hand, is the best R-rarity healer in the game, and can actually perform quite well in this role in other PvE contents too. Together, these two will be enough to clear all Master Battle Story stages.

Because the Story Stage is the easiest of the bunch, players can easily clear this, assuming their R-rarity units have good investments in them.

Other than those, you'll want to use pilots that grant them plenty of ranged sense, preferably with easy-to-fulfill conditions like stacking buffs on dealing damage.

To clear the third mission of every battle, opt to use one of the units above, as these are high DPS units that perform well in a solo setting, given their solid defense or sustain.

Just like with the R-rarity missions, players want to have these units at high investment for better chances of success. That means having them at high Transcendent, Potential, and Custom, and Unit Enhancement Levels, while also having good pilots and the right modules on them.

How To Beat Master Battle Challenge Stage

R-Rarity (And SR) Mission

In this mode's Challenge Stage, players will still have to clear battles with R-rarity units, though there are no longer any restrictions as to how many units can be deployed in a team.

The recommended CP of each of this stage's battles is at 2,500,000, which is not much by today's standards.

To clear this, players must assemble a team of R-rarity units. This team must contain at least a couple of the top-tier low-rarity mobile suits listed above.

The team must have high investments in them, with at least one of the units upgraded to Grade II. Winning with a full R-rarity team also clears the SR-rarity missions, giving players two stars in just one clear.

To complete the final mission, players must win the battle with a team of 6 mobile suits of the specified series or unit category.

Players may use mobile suits of any rarity. Because the battle difficulty is not very high by today's standards, the best strategy is to just cobble together their strongest mobile suits that match the given criteria.

Some of the best mobile suits per battle are displayed above, but any decent Grade II unit with high investments in them should do just fine.

Mission 1 involves clearing with 90 seconds or more remaining on the clock, while Mission 3 requires players to clear with 3 or fewer mobile suits in their formation.

A Unicorn Gundam (Hyper Mega Launcher) with high investments in it will clear both of these objectives with ease. These investments include potential levels, Grade II, Unit Enhancement, and Custom Lv. One with lower investments in them may not work as effectively.

Because this MS works exceptionally well defensively and offensively, it can clear Battles 2 and 3 all by itself, well within the time limit.

Battle 1 is against a Blue-type MS, which poses a threat to the Unicorn Gundam HML, given how it does not have any resistances against this MS type. It will still deal huge damage, but it will likely get taken out. Field two more meta units to clean up the fight should the Unicorn fall in battle.

By fielding the defensive specialists above, players minimize their chances of a mobile suit falling in battle and costing them the mission.

Clearing missions rewards players with Titles previously awarded in past limited events. These Titles can then be placed in a player’s profile card and will appear next to their name in the Arena and other game modes.

More importantly, completing these missions grants rewards like Recycle Pts., Unit Enhancement Pts., Diamonds, Haro Coins, and more, which are all extremely valuable resources that players use to build and strengthen their team.
