Best Arena Teams Explained

All-UR Team

These are some of the best units you can field in the Arena at present, since they offer great sustainability with their high HP, DEF, and Evasion stats, while still dealing tremendous amounts of damage. However, it will take quite a lot of effort to not only get them but to fully unlock their Transcendent Skills and unleash their Potential.

Mobile Suit Details
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - The-O Icon[M0105] The-O Summary
• A dodge tank capable of dealing high single-target damage on top of inflicting them with the Unavoidable debuff, which makes them unable to avoid attacks from its allies.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Gundam GP02A Icon[M0122] Gundam GP02A Summary
• Another tank, but it earns a spot on this team for the extremely high AOE damage its EX skill does. Position this behind The-O to give it enough time to fire off its EX skill.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Sazabi [THE LIFE-SIZED v Gundam STATUE] Icon[M0218] Sazabi [THE LIFE-SIZED v Gundam STATUE] Summary
• The Yellow Sazabi is the best skirmisher in the game with extremely high beam damage, big lifesteal for sustain, and the Bullseye status effect, which ensures that each of its attacks land, even against ≥100% evasion.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Zeta Gundam Icon[M0086] Zeta Gundam Summary
• Deals high beam damage to enemies that are too close to it. Also can spam its EX skill due to its ability to recover its own EX Skill gauge every time it uses the skill.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Hyaku Shiki Icon[M0100] Hyaku Shiki Summary
• The Hyaku Shiki inflicts the Unavoidable status effect on all enemy units with its EX skill, opening them up to bigger damage from The-O and the Zeta Gundam.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Sisquiede Titans Color Icon[M0183] Sisquiede Titans Color Summary
• The Sisquiede is not only a highly accurate Sniper unit, but is also capable of doing AoE damage while lowering the beam damage they deal as well. This beam damage debuff will help your team win their duels and buy them more time to cast their EX skills.

Budget PvP Team

If you are just starting out and only managed to get a single UR mobile suit such as the S Gundam, you can cobble together this team by farming their corresponding blueprints (the Gundam Mk II Titans, Victory Gundam, Matsunaga's High Mobility Zaku II), events (the Guncannon UR version), or chancing upon them while pulling on the game's gacha banners (the Zock).

It will give you good single-target and AoE damage capability, though it lacks the sustainability and ability to inflict status effects that the other teams have, so this is only a stop-gap team you can use if you only want to maintain your rankings and get resources.

Mobile Suit Details
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - S Gundam Icon[M0239] S Gundam Summary
• In this setup, the S Gundam will be one of your main damage dealers. This unit may be earned from the UR Selector ticket that you get when you start the game.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Zock Icon[M0099] Zock Summary
• Though the Zock is an SR rarity unit, it is still potent in its role as an Armored unit because of its EX Skill restoring a good chunk of its HP every five seconds (for a total of 20 seconds).
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Gundam Mk-II (Titans) Icon[M0031] Gundam Mk-II (Titans) Summary
• The Gundam Mk-II is a special unit in that its EX Skill ignores an enemy's DEF, allowing it to deal high amounts of damage. It can also be assembled with Blueprints from Gundam UCE's fragment quests, allowing you to unleash its potential for free after some time.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Victory Gundam Icon[M0087] Victory Gundam Summary
• Just like the Gundam Mk-II (Titans), the Victory Gundam is another MS that can be assembled for free through farming blueprints from fragment quests, and it also deals high amounts of damage with its EX Skill.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Guncannon (UR) Icon[M0256] Guncannon Summary
• The UR rarity version of the Guncannon is an AoE unit players could've gotten for free during Gundam UCE's Crimson Lightning event. It is a good alternative to use until you get your hands on other UR units capable of doing AoE damage like the Hamma-Hamma.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Matsunaga[M0112] Matsunaga's High Mobility Zaku II Summary
• Matsunaga's High Mobility Zaku II is another buildable unit that can act as your team's executioner with its EX Skill targeting enemies with the lowest HP that haven't been taken down by your other mobile suits.

Dolphin PvP Team

If you consider yourself a medium-spender in this game and can afford to guarantee pulling for more than a few UR mobile suits, then you might want to consider aiming for MSs like the Zeta Gundam, Full Armor Unicorn Gundam, Hyaku-Shiki, Hamma-Hamma, and the Gundam Full Armor. A team like this can deal with various teams because of its ability to cast Unavoidable on an

Mobile Suit Details
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - S Gundam Icon[M0239] S Gundam Summary
• Once again, the S Gundam will be in your backline as the team's main ranged damage dealer.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Gundam Full Armor Icon[M0010] Gundam Full Armor (Thunderbolt) Summary
• The Gundam Full Armor is one of the toughest mobile suits in the game with its DEF buffs, though at the cost of dealing relatively low damage to enemies.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Full Armor Unicorn Gundam Icon[M0107] Full Armor Unicorn Gundam Summary
• One of the more potent Generic non-limited UR units, the Full Armor Gundam not only deals decent damage but decreases the beam and projectile damage its allies get from enemy units with its EX Skill.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Hyaku Shiki Icon[M0100] Hyaku Shiki Summary
• Capable of inflicting the Unavoidable debuff on an entire enemy team, the Hyaku Shiki lays the groundwork for the two other units in this team (the Zeta and Hamma-Hamma) to shine.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Zeta Gundam Icon[M0086] Zeta Gundam Summary
• Already deals high amounts of damage with its EX Skill, but deals even more damage by bypassing their DEF if they have the Unavoidable debuff.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Hamma-Hamma Icon[M0196] Hamma-Hamma Summary
• Deals AoE damage to the entire enemy team and will Stun any of them that are afflicted with Unavoidable.
