Best Arena Team Comps Explained

Blue Mobile Suit Centered Arena Team

This team is an alternative to the Phenex (NT-D/NT Version) centric team that uses the Great Zeong, Methuss, and Re-GZID. However, it should be noted that this team will perform worse than the combination of the Phenex (NT-D/NT Version) and the ZZ Gundam (Hyper Giga Cannon).

The upside to using this team is that it is easier to assemble due to the Methuss and Narrative Gundam B2-Packs being in the 72hr Limit MS Unit Assembly

The two red mobile suits can work independently because of their great offensive and defensive capabilities. The Red Qubeley, for example, can defend itself from damage by stunning enemies before they can attack.

Mobile Suit Details
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Qubeley (Red) Icon[M0489] Qubeley • A Raid mobile suit capable of inflicting different debuffs on enemies and gaining buffs from inflicting debuffs.
• Can inflict the Sustained damage, Unavoidable, and Stun debuffs on enemies through its EX skill.
• Able to survive on its own due to stunning enemies before they are able to attack, and giving itself a damage taken down buff of 222% for 18 seconds.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Unicorn Gundam (Hyper Mega Launcher) Icon[M0449] Unicorn Gundam (Hyper Mega Launcher) • A Generic mobile suit that has a strong and spammable EX skill.
• Has strong damage taken down buffs against all enemies except Blue-type mobile suits.
• Has access to Absolute Evade, making it much more survivable against enemy attacks.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Great Zeong Icon[M0490] Great Zeong • Has more than 500% damage taken down buffs and HP buffs, making it a very difficult target to kill.
• Can buff its damage and crit rate from taking damage.
• Has access to a strong EX skill with a high damage multiplier.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Narrative Gundam B2-Packs Icon[M0470] Narrative Gundam B2-Packs • A strong Generic mobile suit capable of dealing significant EX skill damage while giving itself Absolute Evade.
• Can resist EX skill damage, giving this unit some sustainability in battle.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Re-GZID Icon[M0368] Re-GZID •The Re-GZID can redirect enemies to attack allied armored units first, making this mobile suit synergize well with the Great Zeong.
• Apart from that, it can bring a variety of buffs to the team like a damage buff, damage taken down buff, as well as an increase to the damage cap of allied units if the Re-GZID has the Bullseye or Assault status.
However, it should be noted that the mobile suit cannot access the Bullseye or Assault Status using its own abilities.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Methuss (UR) Icon[M0397] Methuss • Another support for the team, the Methuss can restore the HP of allied mobile suits.
• More importantly, it can revive defeated Blue mobile suits, causing more trouble for the enemy team, especially if a unit like the Great Zeong comes back for more.

The red mobile suits can be substituted with any SS or S-tier mobile suit that can survive and deal damage on its own.

Best Mobile Suit Tier List (PvP)

Nu Gundam (LFF and HMB Launcher) with Durable Mobile Suits

This team is centered around the damage buffs that the Nu Gundam (LFF & Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher) gets from having allies alive on the battlefield. When this unit enters its Hyper-Awaken Status, it can get over 300% increased damage and 300% decrease in damage taken from enemies.

Slotting this mobile suit with survivable mobile suits makes sure that this buff is always active.

Mobile Suit Details
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - The-O (Purple) Icon[M0381] The-O • Any durable unit that can deal damage while surviving hits can replace The-O (Purple).
• The-O can damage the entire enemy team with its lethal EX skill. It is also a tanky armored unit, making it a top mobile suit to use in the Arena.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Re-GZID Icon[M0368] Re-GZID • This mobile suit helps protect the team's damage dealers by redirecting the enemy team to attack allied armored units first. This makes it similar to the Gyan, a former meta support unit with similar abilities.
• However, the Re-GZID is more durable than the Gyan due to it having evasion buffs and taking reduced damage from enemy EX skills.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Nu Gundam (LFF & Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher) Icon[M0488] Nu Gundam (LFF and Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher) • While this unit cannot be replaced, as it is what is being built around. This is because it is capable of dealing more damage the more allies are present, and gains durability as well due to damage reduction buffs from the presence of allies.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Narrative Gundam B2-Packs Icon[M0470] Narrative Gundam B2-Packs • A Generic mobile suit that is difficult to kill due to absolute evade and reduced damage taken from EX skills.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Gundam F91 (Twin VSBR-equipped) Icon[M0438] Gundam F91 (Twin VSBR-equipped) • A Raid mobile suit that is also difficult to eliminate due to stealth and EX damage reduction.
• This unit also has extremely high evasion and has a strong EX skill.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Gundam GP02 (MLRS) Icon[M0473]Gundam GP02 (MLRS) • While not durable, this unit can debuff enemies, reducing their defense and making them easier to eliminate.
• However, this unit can be replaced with the Phenex (NT-D/ NT Version) if the team needs HP restoration, or if giving the Nu Gundam (LFF and Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher) stealth is needed.

It is possible to replace some of the units above with those listed in the table below.

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Great Zeong Icon[M0490] Great Zeong Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Gyan Icon[M0317] Gyan Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Phenex (NT-D/NT Version) Icon[M0459] Phenex (NT-D/NT Version)
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Alex (Chobham Armor) Icon[M0431] Alex (Chobham Armor) Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - ZZ Gundam (Hyper Giga Cannon) Icon[M0454] ZZ Gundam (Hyper Giga Cannon) Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Quin Mantha Icon[M0325] Quin Mantha
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Methuss (UR) Icon[M0397] Methuss

All these units listed above are difficult to eliminate, deal a lot of damage, or provide some kind of utility for the team, like restoring health or reviving allies. It should be noted that the Re-GZID can be replaced by the Gyan due to the similarities of their abilities. However, the Re-GZID is ultimately the superior choice due to its greater durability, damage buffs, and damage taken down buffs.

Phenex (NT-D/ NT Version) Team

This team builds around the Phenex (NT-D/ NT Version) to make full use of its buffs. The Nu Gundam (LFF & Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher) and the Victory 2 Assault Buster Cannon Gundam gain stealth due to them being sniper and bombardment units, respectively.

The green units, meanwhile, will get damage buffs and the regeneration status from the Phenex (NT-D/ NT Version). The Re-GZID is in the team to redirect enemies to attack the ZZ Gundam (Hyper Giga Cannon).

Mobile Suit Details
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Gundam GP02 (MLRS) Icon[M0473]Gundam GP02 (MLRS) • The Gundam GP02 (MLRS) can debuff enemies' defense and make allied mobile suits deal more damage as a result.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Phenex (NT-D/NT Version) Icon[M0459] Phenex (NT-D/NT Version) • This mobile suit can grant stealth to sniper and bombardment units, and grant regeneration and damage buffs to the team.
• As a result, this unit cannot be replaced as the utility it provides is too great to lose.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - ZZ Gundam (Hyper Giga Cannon) Icon[M0454] ZZ Gundam (Hyper Giga Cannon) • A strong tank that can deal massive amounts of EX skill damage, especially when buffed by the Phenex (NT-D/NT Version).
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Re-GZID Icon[M0368] Re-GZID • A support mobile suit capable of redirecting enemies to attack armored mobile suits.
• When paired with the Gundam (Hyper Giga Cannon), it creates a defense that is difficult to break due to the Gundam (Hyper Giga Cannon)'s durability.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Nu Gundam (LFF & Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher) Icon[M0488] Nu Gundam (LFF and Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher) • The sniper of the team, this unit can access the Hyper Awaken State, which grants it damage and defense from the presence of allied mobile suits.
• With the Phenex (NT-D/NT Version) keeping the team healthy, the Nu Gundam (LFF and Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher)'s Hyper Awaken Buff will stay active longer.
Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Victory 2 Assault Buster Cannon Gundam Icon[M0487] Victory 2 Assault Buster Cannon Gundam • A bombardment unit with a strong Lethal EX skill.
• This unit is also capable of restoring HP to allies with its regular EX skill.
