Kampfer Analysis

Free MS With DoT EX Skill

The Kampfer is another free mobile suit that you can earn from Fragment Quests. Unfortunately, like most of the other Fragment Quest units, the Kampfer isn't very good at all.

Its EX skill targets the highest HP unit and hits it for 502% ATK, while dealing 127% more every 5 seconds for 20 seconds. This adds up to 1137% of its ATK, which may seem like a lot, but it's not really a lot of damage if you think about it. This damage is spread across 20 seconds, and a lot can happen within that timespan. When fully Transcended, this mobile suit gains 99% EX gauge when battle begins, so it'll be able to use it instantly. However, because of the glaring weaknesses of this mobile suit, it's not worth spending your Rainbow Haro Coins on it.

Weak Offense and Defense

The Kampfer suffers from having a bad offense and a terrible defense. Its regular skills include two projectile damage buffs valued at 11% and 18%, and a stacking 11% movement speed buff on evading (max 55% or 5 stacks). These damage buffs don't amount to much, so don't expect it to deal big damage. Its weapons are also notably bad, and it's one of those Raid units with just 1 good melee weapon and 2 bad ranged weapons.

It has a complete lack of any defensive skills, so don't expect it to last long at all once it's being focused on. Its stacking movement speed buff is pretty much useless too since it has absolutely no evasion built into its kit, so it'll have a really hard time getting its stacks from just a pilot alone.

Not Worth Transcending

The Kampfer gets some nice buffs from Transcendent Skills. When fully Transcended, this MS is 25% more accurate, deals 70% more projectile damage, and starts battles with its EX gauge 99% full as discussed above. While these are actually really good Transcendent Skills, it's really not worth spending your Rainbow Haro Coins on it given how bad its regular skills are.

Overall, the Kampfer really isn't worth investing your resources into, except when you're a new account just starting out and you need another DPS unit. It doesn't serve much purpose in the late, or even mid-game other than to provide you with Rainbow Haro Coins to contribute to your Haro Farm once you get this unit to Potential Lv. 5.
