Byarlant Custom Analysis

Accurate Raid Melee Fighter

The Byarlant Custom is a melee fighter with good accuracy. Unlike the majority of Raid units, the Byarlant Custom has 2 melee weapons, so it's quite decent at melee combat given that it's able to use 2 weapons at close range instead of having to spend more time using subpar weapons from a distance.

Its EX skill is a rather straightforward one that deals 502% ATK to a single targeted enemy unit, while also increasing its own accuracy by 36% for 20 seconds. Unfortunately, this EX skill takes a while to cast given its lack of EX gauge recovery or restoration skills, so it'll take a while before it's able to benefit from this accuracy buff.

Its regular skills include a 14% accuracy boost, as well as a 33% evasion buff that activates when its health falls down to 40% or below.

Transcending Grants Accuracy, Evasion, Damage

The Byarlant's Transcendent Skills include a 25% accuracy, 70% beam damage for the first 30 seconds of combat, and another 33% evasion buff granted when its health falls below 40%. When fully Transcended, it benefits from a maximum total of 75% accuracy, 66% evasion when at 40% or lower health, and the 70% beam damage buff, which is its only damage buff.

The problem with Transcending this unit is that there are tons of better units, and Transcending is a very costly process. It does not fare well against the top units in the game and does not do anything at a high level. You're much better off spending your Rainbow Haro Coins on the higher-tiered mobile suits.

Plenty Of Glaring Weaknesses

The Byarlant Custom suffers from being either below average or mediocre at everything it does. It only has 1 damage buff, which is locked behind Transcendent Skills. Its only form of defense is evasion, which is valued at 66%. 66% evasion isn't that high, and the fact that it needs to be at low health to activate makes it even worse. Finally, it has 39% accuracy and needs to use its EX skill to get to 75%. However, it takes forever to use due to the Byarlant's aforementioned lack of EX gauge recovery or restoration buffs.
