PvE Buffer and Damage Threat

The Sazabi is a PvE powerhouse, as it not only deals good amounts of damage but can also buff allies while debuffing an opponent. It's equipped with an EX skill that hits the highest HP enemy unit for 693% of their ATK, while also increasing the beam damage they take by 60%. This EX skill also increases the damage output of all Blue-type allies by 26%. As you can imagine, this is very powerful for PvE, especially in Cooperative and Raid battles where you're likely to field in more than 1 Blue-type MS against Red-type opponents, and where you face off against only 1 enemy that'll take 60% more beam damage from the entire team.

Its Transcendent Skills include 50% accuracy and 70% beam damage buffs for its Third Weapon, a stacking evasion buff on dealing damage that maxes out at 46%, and an on-evade mechanic that restores 6% of its EX gauge with each attack evaded.

Its regular skills include a 22% beam damage buff, a 10% evasion buff, and a stacking beam damage buff on evade that maxes out at 85%.

Unreliable in Arena

This mobile suit will start matches at only 10% evasion and will have to get its stacks to reach its maximum of 56%. That said, it'll take time before it actually gets to evade and reap the benefits from its 6% EX gauge restoration skill and its stacking beam damage buff. Additionally, 56% evasion isn't really all that impressive, especially since it has no way of healing back the damage it takes. Additionally, evasion isn't very good in Arena anymore as there are plenty of mobile suits equipped with the means to counter evasion, such as very high accuracy, evasion debuffs, Bullseye, and Unavoidable.

The need for the Sazabi to ramp up to get evasion, as well as its reliance on evading attacks, makes it unreliable in PvP where it'll likely die before it gets to use its EX skill or get its max stacks from its stacking skill effects.

Transcending Unlocks The Sazabi's Damage Potential

Not only will the Sazabi deal more damage and be more accurate with its Third Weapon, its biggest evasion buff is also locked behind Transcendent Lv. 5. Without this, it'll only have 10%, and that's not enough to stack up its biggest beam damage buff. Transcendent Lv. 5 also allows it to restore 6% of its EX with each successful evasion.

Potential Unleashed also increases the EX skill's damage, beam damage taken, and the damage buff granted to Blue-type allies, so try to get as many copies as you can for maximum Potential Lv.

He has 2 more permanent ranged sense buffs that amount to 92%, bringing the maximum total ranged sense up to 587%.
