Transcendent Skill	• Unlock ［Strong Attack］Beam Rifle. • At the start of battle, the Re-GZ's Third Weapon beam damage is increased by 70%. • Whenever the Re-GZ uses its EX Skill, the damage dealt by all its "Blue" type allies increases by 11% for 20 seconds.
Skill 1	• At the start of battle, the Re-GZ's beam damage increases by 20% for 30 seconds.
Skill 2	• When the Re-GZ's HP is at 80% or lower, its beam damage increases by 12%. • Whenever the Re-GZ evades an attack, it takes 14% less projectile damage for 10 seconds (stackable up to 5 times).

Blue-Type Damage Buffer

The Re-GZ is a Generic mobile suit best known for its ability to buff its allied Blue-type mobile suits' damage output, though it lacks any effectiveness outside of those Blue-type buffs.

Its EX skill deals 578% ATK to a targeted enemy unit, while also granting 22% more damage to all Blue-type allies for 20 seconds. When fully Transcended, this EX skill further increases Blue-type damage by 11%, bringing the total damage buff up to 33%.

Lacks In Other Areas

Outside of its Blue-type buffing capabilities, the Re-GZ sadly just isn't particularly good at anything else. Its Skill 1 increases beam damage by 20%, but only activates 30 seconds after the battle begins. Its Skill 2, on the other hand, increases beam damage by 12% when below the 80% threshold, while also granting 14% projectile damage resistance on evading, which stacks up to 5 times or at 70%.

As you can see, none of these skills are particularly good. Skill 1 doesn't activate until late into the match, and doesn't grant that much damage either. Meanwhile, Skill 2's beam damage buff also isn't substantial at all, while its stacking projectile buff is bad for 2 reasons: projectile damage is quite rare, especially among meta units, and it needs to evade to get stacks, which it cannot do effectively given that it has no built-in evasion.

Strong T5 Buff, But Not Worth Transcending

Transcending this unit gives it its Third Weapon, as well as increases that Third Weapon's beam damage by 70%. Also, as mentioned earlier, the Transcendent Skill further increases the damage of Blue-type by 11%. While these undoubtedly make the mobile suit stronger, it is certainly not worth Transcending given that it doesn't perform all that well in the current meta. If you are using it on your team, chances are, you'll find something better to replace it rather soon.

Potential Unleashed is very important on this MS, as this directly influences its EX skill damage and buff potency. Luckily, the Re-GZ is one of the mobile suits you'll get to Potential Lv. 5 first since it's a Fragment Quest unit, and the Re-GZ Fragment Quests reward you with more blueprints than usual given its lack of a signature pilot.

Overall, the Re-GZ is nice to have as an MS considering that it's free, and it's decent as a Blue-type buffer for when you're just starting out. Its best use would be for newer accounts to buff up the blue-type DPS carry they're borrowing for PvE content, or just to buff multiple Blue-type units against PvE stages featuring Red-types.

How to Play

Strengths

• Potent damage buff for Blue-types.
• Can be useful for buffing powerful borrowed units from clanmates/friends.
• Works well in teams with multiple Blue-type units.

The Re-GZ is a rather straightforward unit whose only real good use is its EX skill being able to buff Blue-type units. That said, it's quite good when you intend on buffing a key Blue-type unit, be it your own or borrowed, or for buffing multiple Blue-type units on the same team for PvE content against Red-type units. Do note, however, that certain mobile suits such as the Unicorn Gundam NT-D (White Unicorn), Sazabi, and Full Armor ZZ Gundam all do what the Re-GZ does, and then some. Re-GZ is the worst out of all these Blue-type buffers.

How to Beat

• Low impact outside of buffs.
• Extremely squishy due to the lack of defensive skills.
• Does not deal much damage by itself.

The Re-GZ is not really a powerful mobile suit, and you don't really need much strategy to defeat it. Any half-decent Green-type unit should be able to deal with this unit effectively, and the premier DPS units of the game, regardless of type, can make quick work of this MS.
