Accessible Single Target Debuffer

The Gundam Mk-II is one of the best mobile suits you can earn from Fragment Quest, thanks to its usefulness as a single target debuffer.

Its EX skill deals 502% ATK damage, while also increasing the beam damage an enemy takes by 50% for 20 seconds. When fully Transcended, this EX skill gives the same debuff but for Projectile Damage, and charges 46% faster.

This EX skill alone makes it one of the best Fragment Quest units, and a good mobile suit for Cooperative Quests. If you don't have Phenex, Alex, or Cima's Gelgoog Marine, you can use the Mk-II in their place instead. To put it into perspective, its beam and projectile damage taken debuff duration and potency are equal to those of the Alex and Cima's Gelgoog, while the Phenex's is only 10% stronger. A high Potential Lv. Mk-II will outperform these three units as debuffers if you don't have them at high Potential Lv.

Unremarkable Outside Of Debuffing

While it's good at debuffing and making a single enemy unit take increased damage, it's not quite good at anything else. It benefits from a 30-second 20% beam damage buff, a stacking 4% beam damage buff on taking damage that maxes out at 20%, and an 8% movement speed buff. All three buffs are rather unremarkable, and the stacking debuff is particularly bad as this unit is not meant to withstand taking hits.

Its offense, outside of its damage taken debuffs, isn't good at all. This is for mainly 2 reasons. The first is that it is a Raid unit with only 1 melee weapon and 2 subpar ranged weapons, and its Third Weapon is unlocked by Transcending it. Next is that its beam damage buffs aren't very good at all in the sense that each one amounts to a maximum of just 20%, one of them expires in half a minute, and the other one needs to take hits to get stacks, which is really undesirable for a mobile suit that can't take hits. That brings us to its defense, which is pretty much nonexistent given its absence of any defensive buffs whatsoever.

Stronger When Transcended

You'll want to fully Transcend this unit for maximum debuff uptime if you plan on getting the most value out of this unit as a single target debuffer for reasons we've already discussed above. Regardless of whether you're a newbie or a seasoned veteran, if you don't have the other debuffers we've mentioned above or have them but at low Potential Lv., this mobile suit will come in handy for Cooperative Battles.

Kamille Bidan is the Mk-II's signature pilot who grants it 76% melee sense, 38% ranged sense, and 10% accuracy. He also grants 22% reaction for 10 seconds each time the Mk-II evades, but this skill is rather useless since the Mk-II has no built-in evasion whatsoever anyway.

Because of its role as a single-target debuffer and since there are no pilots who can accelerate its EX gauge recovery, the pilot doesn't really matter as much since it won't deal much damage nor will it survive for long regardless of the buffs it receives from pilots.
