Pulling from Gacha banners is one of the many ways you can get mobile suits and pilots in Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage. Read on to see which banners are the best to pull on and what your chances are in pulling your desired characters.

This won't come as a surprise for most gacha players: the best use for your gacha currency is by spending it only on Limited and Event banners. This is because you will have many opportunities to pull on the standard mobile suit and pilot banners, excluding the daily free pulls that the game offers for them.
These are the banners you should invest your diamonds in in descending priority.
When you start Gundam UC Engage, you will be given access to a 72 Hour Limit MS Unit Assembly. This banner offers a drop rate that is twice the regular rate of other banners, prioritize acquiring Diamonds during this period and spend them on this banner for a much higher chance to acquire mobile suits that will complement the initial ones that you have gained on your rerolls.

The counterpart to the 72-Hour MS Unit Assembly, which is also available 72 hours from the start of your playthrough. Only pull from this banner if you have already acquired a formidable team from the reroll and the 72-Hour Limit MS Unit Assembly.
72 Hour Limit Character Unit Assembly Banner Guide
Gundam UC Engage periodically launches events that offer players access to exclusive Mobile Suits inspired by current Gundam series.
For example, to celebrate the release of Gundam Requiem for Vengeance on Netflix, Gundam UC Engage has introduced a special Event MS Unit Assembly featuring the Gundam EX, available with an increased UR drop rate of 1.500%. Take advantage of these event exclusives especially if the featured MS is a great addition to your squad.
Event MS Unit Assembly Banner Guide
Running alongside Event MS Unit Assemblies, this banner offers an exclusive signature pilot for the event's featured MS. Pull from the Event Character Unit Assembly if you have a strong MS lineup ready, as these event-specific characters can be a great addition to featured MS units or be an alternate pilot for some of your other MS.

Some banners can only be utilized when you have specific tickets in your possession. You're free to pull from these banners at any time you wish, as their lineups rarely, if ever, change.

Due to the way mobile suits and their corresponding pilots are designed, you're better off prioritizing the mobile suit. After all, a pilot without their partner's mobile suit can only use a fraction of their abilities in battle. However, mobile suits can make do with a wide variety of pilots that can fit their Type, Category, and Unit Category.
It's recommended that you use your initial resources in the standard MS Unit Assembly banner first. This is because Extreme Limited and Event banners typically have featured mobile suits that are difficult to get copies of for the Potential Unleashed feature.
Although a mobile suit's signature pilot can bring out its full capabilities, the mobile suit itself is the more important half of the pair. So, unless you're pulling on the pilot banner to complete the pair, you should prioritize getting the mobile suit first.
That being said, skipping pilot banners due to that fact would also be a mistake. Although pilots can have substitutes, no pilot can do a better job at bringing out the best in a mobile suit other than its signature partner.
These are the rates for the most common types of banners in the game:
Rarity | Pull Rate |
---|---|
R | 86% |
SR | 10% |
UR | 5% |

The primary currency used to pull from Gundam UCE's gacha banners is Diamonds. If you want to get Diamonds for free, there are many ways to get them from progressing through the Main Quest to participating in Clan Battles.
However, note that in exchange for these Diamonds, you will have to put in both time and effort to get them. Some of the methods, like completing the Panel Missions at the beginning, can take some time to complete especially if you are just starting out.
Another way to pull from the game's gacha banners is by using Unit Assembly Tickets. There are different tickets that allow you to pull from different gacha banners, such as the Guaranteed UR Mobile Suit Unit Assembly Ticket, the Event Mobile Suit Unit Assembly Ticket, and the Mobile Suit Unit Assembly Ticket.
If you want to save on your Diamonds, try doing single pulls using these tickets. You will always be asked to use tickets first instead of Diamonds if you choose the single pull option under a gacha banner. The option will only be available if you have a valid ticket in your inventory.
UR Selector Ticket Guide - Who Should You Pick?
Of course, the easiest and fastest way to get gacha pulls is to buy Diamonds from the Diamond Shop and use them to pull. However, we only recommend using this option if you really want the unit currently available on the game's gacha banners.
In the Diamond Shop, there are packs that offer not only Diamonds but VIP Points that give you additional player perks. You will also be given bonus Diamonds depending on the pack you purchased.
