Skipping missions is a built-in mechanic in Gundam UC Engage to make farming faster. Read on to learn which missions or quests are worth considering and how you can make skipping missions more streamlined in our guide.
List of Contents
Gundam UC Engage requires players to possess specific materials to strengthen their teams. These can be anything from alteration materials, mobile suit or pilot pieces, enhancement materials, and other consumables.
However, more often than not, the required amount of materials to achieve your goals cannot be obtained by simply progressing through the game at a linear pace. You may need to repeatedly clear a stage to collect enough of the stage's drops.
That is where skipping missions comes in handy. It allows you to skip the the entire process of fighting through the stages you have already perfectly cleared once and immediately arrive at the results.
This means you can spend less time farming and put more attention into progressing through the game, participating in events, etc.
Due to the time-intensive nature of farming materials, it is highly recommended that you consider skipping fights that you must repeat five or even dozens of times. This is because while Skip Tickets, the consumables required to skip stages, are cheap, they are also mostly useless to hoard.
The primary candidates for skippable missions are the main quest stages. You would usually run these stages to farm for alteration materials, but the required quantities to get Custom level upgrades rise quickly. This means you'll eventually be required to clear certain stages dozens of times for every batch you need.
Considering that each stage clear takes at least several seconds to finish, regardless of how strong your team is, the total time required to farm for what you need can quickly multiply to unbearable quantities.
To skip a mission, head to that stage and look for the battle skip option, which is usually located on the quest window's right side. Depending on your purpose, you can access this window in multiple ways outside of browsing for the quest from the Stage Select menu.
For example, during the early game, you'll be skipping stages primarily to farm alteration materials. If you don't have enough of a particular material, you can click on its icon and navigate to a list of stages where it drops, as well as shops from which you can purchase it, if any. Selecting any stage from that list will bring you to the same window you would arrive at if you selected it from the Stage Select menu.
On that window, you can specify the number of times you want the game to run at that stage. Each instance uses one Skip Ticket along with the appropriate amount of AP.
This can be repeated however many times you want or until you run out of either AP or Skip Tickets.
Item | Category | Description |
---|---|---|
Consumable | Skip Ticket I A ticket to skip the battle(s) for a quest that has its mission(s) completed. |
Skip Tickets can be purchased from the Coin Shop for an initial discounted price of 5 coins 100 times or 10 coins for however many you need.
Skip All Quests is a feature that allows players to mark specific quests to skip for convenience. You can even tailor a list of quests to skip for specific purposes, such as for completing your dailies or for farming fragments and upgrading materials.
Do note, however, that aside from quests with a limited entry per cycle, the game will attempt to repeat every selected stage an equal number of times. For example, if you selected three stages to skip five times, the game will run each stage five times, costing you 15 Skip Tickets and the appropriate amount of AP.
